Had a great time with Clifton at the Fiber Nook Yarn store! He's a wealth of knitting/yarn knowledge and fun as well. They have an excellent selection at many price points. A definite must visit every time I come to Edmonton!
Well worth the visit, what a gem of a yarn store. So much to see, feel, touch, buy! Can't wait to post pictures of my creations with this beautiful yarn.
I’ve been here with my mom a few times and the guy who works there is awesome. He’s so helpful and knowledgeable. My mom loves his store and would leave a review but she doesn’t use the internet much. She prefers knitting with the wools she gets here. Keep up the terrific service you offer. All the best to you and your business.
Lost yarn chicken last night so I zipped over here this morning. I got there a few minutes before they opened but the gentleman saw me outside and let me in. I was looking for a skein of Estelle Heather plum but they didn't seem to have any, and when he saw me scanning the wall he offered to help and went into the back to find some. I forgot to ask his name but he was super kind and helpful. I always enjoy coming by here.
Wonderful customer service, good prices, homey feeling to the store. Wonderful place to get your yarn and needle felting supplies
Awesome shop with a stunning variety of yarns. Not only is the quality amazing but the service and assistance matches the beautiful products sold. Highly recommended.
This was my first time visiting after moving to Edmonton and I knew I had to find a yarn +extras! store STAT. Clifton was beyond helpful and welcoming. I have never been in a knitting store that has made me feel so confident of my choices and inspired to start and finish the hardest projects! Thank you Clifton and team. I will be back and will tell all my textile crafty friends.
What a lovely, inviting store. Very safe, appointment shopping the day I went. Beautiful yarns and notions. I noticed a learning/communal space which is always great for fibre artists...
The staff was really nice and helpfull and polite and patient with us Love this store and i cant wait to return Yes it does have a nice area where you can sit and knit Edit : dear fibre nook .... I went in to buy some wool , Canadian would be nice I said... I ended up with 25% polyamide ... From Uruguay and my receipt don't know if I still have it said 34$ and the label on the yarn says 30$.... What's up ?!?!?! Would of been nice to have been told your no longer buying pure wool and no longer buying Canadian !! Thanks for looking into this
I was at this store a month ago. The gentleman was very kind and helpful. The lady with long hair was nice. The lady with short hair was very abrasive. I will never shop here again. I asked if a particular yarn could work well on a knitting machine. Her response was, she did not know and SHE DOES NOT KNIT ON MACHINE! with tone and abruptly walked away. I thought she was a customer and later found out she is a co-owner. I want to be treated with kindness and respect when I go to any store. I did buy a few things, spend $300, but I will never come back here to shop.
