Perch is super tiny, full of bones and way over cooked. My husband's fries were the opposite, way under cooked. Salad bar and baked potato was ok. At $17.99 for 6 super tiny fish, I doubt we'll be returning.
They choose an excellent name for this diner. Family from all around drive just to eat here. They truly make family's welcome. Kid-friendliness: Stuffed real animals all through the restaurants. All the food is homemade even the bread. One of my favorites places to visit. Parking: Large lot plenty of space for parking
Waitress cut off my husband mid order. Forgot my drink had to go find her to finish my husband's order. Asked for to go boxes never did bring them to me. Food was ok serving size was good. Waitress was very short with me. Seemed rushed and there were only 5 tables and 2 waitresses so I have to assume she is just that type of person.
Good service and very good food. Wife had Cajun walleye. 3 pieces covered a large dinner plate. I had smothered chicken. Both very tasty. Salad bar was surprisingly good. Maybe the best I've had in the tri county area - on par with the old Ruby Tuesday. All three soups were very good as well. Definitely will come back.Food: 5/5
The fish is always good. Their bread rolls are yummy!. The waitress was great. We had a large group, and she never missed a step.
My name is Milton sarles I am a regular at the dinner.....it's always been good people good atmosphere but I have been ordering take-out there for about three years now and the money was a little bit steep for the value of the food I ordered but I pay for it because of the convenience of living across the street I ordered my wife a chicken wrap to go the other day according to the online menu it was $8.99 I picked it up not thinking about the price any further ntil I happened to look at the receipt it was double the price $16.99 there is now a takeout fee thats out of control so I decided to just go over because I still like the restaurant and it's ok food sit down open the menu and everything but a few items that I don't eat was over $12 I can just go to mc Donald's and get more for less so I just ordered a coffee to be nice don't want to be rude I drank half and go to pay for the coffee and it was $2.60 what........... dang I loved that little restaurant to sorry guys I can't do it truly am sorry you all are still awesome people just can't afford it
The prices have went up so much. We didn't mind because you got the salad bar. Now it's almost 4 bucks more if you want salad bar. Prices are way to high. By the time you get a meal and a drink, it's from 16 to 20 bucks per person. And NO salad bar. I will be looking for a new place to to eat.

Place is always busy. We absolutely love eating walleye & the salad bar is great. Not to mention the homemade rolls & baked breads. We drive up from Flushing MI. & always stop here when driving through & visiting. Our friends & family were very happy with their meals. Oh! If you order coconut cream pie, be ready to share! Worth the drive.
We took a puppy that we sold so we delivered it and on our way home we stop there the food wonderful I had liver and onions mashed potatoes and gravy and the potatoes were real and the liver you could cut with a fork my had a Farmers omelette and he enjoyed that .we are a Pepsi products and they had coke . He had Mello Yello and I had a diet coke. But I still got to give a hand up.
