The Edge Restaurant

One of the nicest places I've seen in the past.... Very clean, food is delicious, staff is very professional.... If it would be a little closer to the freeway I would stop every time I passing by,, I leave in Spokane and traveling a lot...

Around early or mid-May this year, I stopped in to the Edge around 3PM to reward myself with a beer after running errands. I sat at the bar but there was no bartender. I waited a long time, getting annoyed, and went to the liquor store in the next room and asked the attendant there where the bartender was. She said that the woman was talking in the kitchen. She or I popped a head in and got the attention the the bartender, who scurried in and served me my beer. When I was ready to go, she was gone again. After waiting some more I myself opened the kitchen door and said I wanted to settle my tab. Boy was I annoyed. I even looked for a comment card but there were none to be found.

Food was good, service was slow,one waiter with a trainee.

I've been eating here for many years. The food is usually pretty good, but every time my friends and I go back, the service gets worse. Servers seem to avoid guests as much as possible. Bare minimum in terms of hospitality. My friends and I are becoming more disappointed with every return.

Always good food, always great service. Lovelyu outdoor seating area overlooking the pond.
