Good food! Great atmosphere. The fish and chips are their specialty for sure. We liked it so much we made a point of going a second time while on vacation in Newfoundland. It's on a quaint street in downtown St. John. Lots of stairs up to the pub from Water Street. The bathrooms are in the basement down a steep set of stairs inside the pub. Prices are reasonable.

Fantastic spot. Good selection of beer on tap ( not a craft beer seekers location). Generally pretty busy, but for some reason an old favourite to grab a pint.

Nice nostalgic place. Service was great. Fish and chips were delicious with a very light batter on the fish. Great menu.

I had the toutons breakfast and it was very good at a very good price. It was nice crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My friends had the fish and chips and they really enjoyed it. There was a soccer game so the ambiance was good. The service was very friendly and helpful. Had a great experience there.
