Had one beer with a couple friends here, and it was very refreshing and nice. Seems like a real hole in the wall place, but it's really cool to look at the antique cigarette machines and the pictures on the walls... feels like a sort of time machine.
I absolutely LOVE this bar! It is the best bar in Iowa City. I started going here in 2016 when I first arrived in Iowa City. I did not know a soul in town at the time. I have met so many wonderful people here that I can now gladly call friends. The owner is great. His staff is great. They pour a good drink.
Best underground CASH ONLY Bar in the downtown Iowa City area. Best pours. Awesome bartenders. It's a home a way from home so long as it's not Friday or Saturday during football season.......unless your into that PARTY!
This is kind of a weird bar. The men's bathroom door doesn't close. The glass I received my beer in was dirty and the bartender was not very friendly except to her usual patrons. They do have a pool table and a pretty cool fish tank though.

This is a cute little gem hidden away! Brings back the old neighborhood bar vibe. Very clean and perfect lighting, I wish I had more time to spend the there.

About the only place downtown that is a consistently chill atmosphere. Vibe is the same as it was 20 years ago.
