The Dry Cleaner

The Dry cleaner there has the worst customer service I've ever encountered. Long rant begins now: My fiancée had the unfortunate task of retrieving her dry “cleaned” products from your shop at the Fortino's at 35 Worthington Avenue, Brampton. This was her second time having to retrieve her clothing, as the first time she noticed that all of her products (1 shirt, 1 pant, and 1 dress) still had the same stain as when originally brought in. She was told to come in the following Thursday as she was promised that they would all be cleaned by then. Fast forward to the day; she went into the store to retrieve her product only to find that the only cleaned piece of clothing was her 1 pant. Both the dress and the shirt were still stained. On mentioning that her products were still not cleaned, the clerk became irate and he raised his voice and began patronizing her. This is not proper customer service. He refused to acknowledge the fact that The Dry Cleaner’s services were not rendered. Instead he gave some haphazard, over-the-line comparison to some doctor giving surgery and her subsequently dying, and her still needing to pay for those services. Not only did it not make any sense, but it also explored ideas of her death, which is simply uncomfortable, unsettling, and unacceptable. He refused to return her dress if it was not paid for, even though it was not cleaned and his services were not rendered. It’s ridiculous that she could not get her dress back without having to pay for it and equally as ridiculous and disgusting that he even had the gall to raise his voice to her.  I emailed "customer support" to complain. I asked for an apology from the clerk and a refund. Basic resolution. I got neither. Instead they sided with the guy. To add insult to injury, they gave us a 5 dollar voucher for our next visit. As if we'd ever go back there
