We visited the drunken lobster not once but twice on our week long trip in Canmore - what an amazing restaurant! If you’re looking for delicious east coast seafood and a stunning ambience, this is the the place! Everything we had was delicious. The staff was welcoming and warm. Shout out to Randy for not only being a sweetheart waitress but also giving great recommendations around Canmore/Banff! We will def be back when in Canmore
We stumbled upon this restaurant while vacationing in Canmore and are so glad that we did! Everything about this establishment is a 10/10. We ordered oysters, the seafood chowder and the lobster roll. All of the things we ordered were delicious! Our favorite was the seafood chowder. Our visit was very enjoyable and our food was scrumptious! We highly recommended this restaurant!
Really fun atmosphere with fab music.. the lobster bisque was unbelievably good… Fish tacos were excellent. It's hard to believe a restaurant with his quality of food and casual fun atmosphere exists in Canmore.Definitely worth the drive from Calgary.Food: 5/5
The oysters were delicious and fresh. Seafood chowder was full of shrimps, mussels and clams, yum! The lobster dinner special was amazing. The scallop appetizer and sweet potato puree were definitely worth the price. We went there twice during our stay in Canmore, highly recommend. Service is on point too.Food: 4/5

If you like authentic east coast shell fish and sea food this is the place to be. The Oysters, PEI Mussels, Scallops, and Lobster Mac & Cheese were all incredible. We had such a good experience that we made a reservation to go again before we leave Canmore for the week!Food: 5/5
We visited the Drunken Lobster this past Saturday. We chatted with he owner James and he made us feel right back at home on the east coast. The Oysters were fresh and absolutely fantastic and the house Caesar was unique and delicious. Anytime I pass by Canmore I will be sure to hit this spot again. 10/10!Food: 5/5
We arrived in Canmore and happened upon the Drunken Lobster by accident. What a lovely surprise. The seafood was excellent, especially the fish and chips. Absolutely wonderful! We chatted with the owner, Jamie, who was charming and shared with us a little bit of his story. The atmosphere was so cozy and comfortable. Prices were affordable. Hope to return another evening.
Stopped in to check out this new establishment and ordered the seafood chowder. It was Absolutely delicious and such a cozy space! Service was top notch! A gem in the Bow Valley! Can’t wait to try more items, everything looked amazing coming out of the kitchen!
