A cute little quirky place not far from where we were camping. We decided to give it a go, and the coffee was absolutely delicious and so very smooth! Lots of little souvenirs, coffee cups and clothing for purchase. I love supporting local shops.
Such a cool coffee shop! They made the coffee right in the van and had homemade lavender syrup. It was the best iced lavender latte I've had! Definitely recommend visiting if in the area.
Great coffee! Rich and nutty with low bitterness. I loved that they provided linguini noodles for coffee stirrers; very eco friendly! Don't let the little VW bus fool you into thinking they don't make great coffee. If you love coffee or tea, this is the place to be!
The cold coffee and the smoothie was the best I've had. The cool factor of a VW bus turned coffee & merch shop was awesome. Extremely nice and friendly. Very quick to get your order. This was one of my favorite stops. Well done!!!
Such a cute little place with a variety of items in the gift shop. Really good smoothies, we went two days back to back for their smoothies. Next time we’re in the area we will stop in again!
Everything about the Dream Bean Machine rates 5 STARS! Fast, excellent service from happy people, outstanding location next to the agate museum and walking distance to beaches on both Grand Marais Bay & Lake Superior. Of course the VW bus brings the cool factor & the Rainbow vibe welcomes all. Love that! The absolute best part was discovering they serve Higher Grounds coffee!! My hometown FAV!! I was in heaven enjoying a fabulous drink the first time my toes touched the Big Lake! The DBM made the first morning of my first trip to the UP a forever memory & highlight of the trip! Thank y'all for everything!
Absolutely outstanding. First off, I have never seen such a fun and unique concept for a bean juice shop. If you like espresso and peanut butter and yumminess try the happy monkey! The iced peach teach was also super light, refreshing, and perfect on a hot day. 10/10 I would drive back to Grand Marais from Marquette just for this shop.
Delicious!! And so friendly! We camped just down the road from this unique little place! Walking down and getting coffee in the morning was so fun! We asked if we could snap some photos of our dogs in front of the Dream Bean Cafe and they said go right ahead! So we waited for no customers and got some adorable photos! My husband had a fancy coffee Mocha drink that he said was outstanding. Then when I brought my Mom here, she had just regular coffee which she also said was really good! I myself and not a coffee drinker, but they do have other options as well! This place is just so much fun! It's a must stop when you are in the area!
What an unexpected bright spot of our trip. We’re always wanting good coffee to start our day when traveling and I definitely prefer to support local when we can. We’re so glad to come across Stella. And they have cold brew! And those cinnamon rolls .... yummmm.
We were in a weekend visit to Grand Marais and visited here twice. The first time I had an iced dirty chai, it's the best one I've ever had. The second time I had an Irish cream iced latte. It was so good. Both times service was very friendly and quick. The store next to Stella is fun to wander in and look at their cool merch. Make this a must stop for your caffeine needs while in Grand Marais. You won't be disappointed.
