Story

We are open at 6 am 7 days a week. Saturday and Sunday we close at 2, Mon-Thursday we close at 4 and Friday we close at 7 pm.

Dam Cafe serves Full Breakfast's including Omelets-Pancakes-French Toast and Breakfast sandwiches-coffee's, lattes, teas & hot cocoa's!!
We also serve Burgers, Soups-house-made, Salads, specialty sandwiches, wings and Fish n Chips on Fridays!!

Get anything we have on our menu to go 413-533-1866. If the line is busy try back, its because we are taking phone orders!! Try our Dam Cafe App for iphone!!! no need to call, you pay online and pickup at the counter-NO LINES!!!!

Solid corn muffins..... crispy & generous servings of butter on the side. Quick service. Obviously a favorite with locals but great from out of town too. If you want a standing desk, the tables are at the perfect height to do work.

Went for a business meeting, had to take some muffins home. Coffee's good too. It seemed a little crowded, but I would imagine a good place draws a crowd.

I've been there twice and the same thing has happened both times I went in there. They say they are closing at one time, but they actually start closing WAY before. Today the internet posting said they closed at 3. They said they actually close at 2 when we went in there but when we tried to order at 1:15, they said the kitchen was closed! Are you KIDDING me?! A full 45 minutes before closing time??? If you close at 2, you should be taking orders until 1:59, IMHO. Is the owner too cheap to pay the workers to stay and clean after closing time or are the workers trying to ditch out early? Either way...not a good look, Dam Café.

I've had great experiences at the Dam Cafe and have brought many friends there for lunch. I've never been disappointed. It's what I expect -- a place where you order at a counter and sit down and have good food. I don't know why people are complaining about service when it's not a full service restaurant. My favorite sandwich is the "Oscar", generous roast beef with roasted peppers and onions and horseradish sauce. I get it on the grilled ciabatta bread. It's delicious!

Can not say enough about this place. Great food and great service. I look forward to eating here when I'm in the area. A definite must check out if you have never been.
