Amazing would be too humble of a word to describe this place. Their service was great, friendly staff and it won't take too long to get your food. We had curry lamb and chilli chicken. Word of warning: when they ask you how spicy tell them the truth as it will be VERY spicy. For those who can handle them, it's paradise in your mouth!
Liked the place and hospitality provided. The receptionist and the server were polite and humble answered all the questions regarding dishes and suggested very well. I had ordered garlic Nana, Manchuria veg with gravy as a main course, I had it for 1st time some thing different than usual vegetarian dishes. Mango Lassi
Yesterday, I went for a dine out and choose this restaurant for it. Extremely I liked the food that they served to me. I tried a lot of Indian restaurants in Canada though I didn’t get satisfaction from those . I really satisfied with the taste and aroma of the food from this one. The interior decoration is also a commendable one.
Found this amazing little eatery on a simple google search. Never in a million years when driving into the parking lot did I imagine there would be such a fantastic authentic Indian restaurant in this location. Friendly hostess, simple menu. Great portions. Amazing, authentic flavours and spices! Highly recommend.
Delicious food, great hospitality, and 100% authentic Indian and Nepalese food. We tried the Chicken Biryani, Veg Pakoras, Chicken seekh kababs. All of them were excellent reminded us of food back in India. I have previously tried their Chicken Chowmein and Vegetarian Manchurian which were both delicious as well. Highly recommend trying this new restaurant in St. Catharines, one of my favorite Indian restaurant in town. Just the restaurant we needed in #OurHomeSTC The owner was fantastic in the hospitality she provided us as well.
Absolutely wonderful place. Great ambience, fantastic decor, had soft Arijit Singh music playing in the background, the host is friendly and super nice, and the food was delicious as well. Highly recommended. If you’re in or around St. Catherine’s, do not miss this place.
I've been meaning to try this place as I'm always down for curry and this place seemed promising with very positive reviews. I finally got to order a takeout from here and I'm happy to report it lived up to my expectation. I ordered the steamed vegetarian momo, the garlic Naan, the prawns biryani, the lamb vindaloo, and the fish curry. The server warned me that the biryanis are spicy, but ironically the momo were surprisingly spicy and definitely spicier than biryani. I enjoyed the momo though, it was packed with flavours. The prawns biryani was equally good; the prawns were not overcooked, the rice was cooked well and the overall package was seasoned well. My favourites were definitely the lamb vindaloo and the fish curry. The lamb vindaloo had that deep umami from tomatoes that worked beautifully with the curry flavour. There was also just the right flavour from the lamb meat without its gaminess. The fish curry, on the other hand, had milder flavours with the coconut milk being the central element. The fish was cooked perfectly and had the right texture and seasoning, and there was no fishiness whatsoever. I am looking forward to ordering from this place again, we were pleased with everything we ordered and the portions were quite generous. If you are looking for a good Indian restaurant in St. Catharines, make sure to give this one a try.
The Curry Pot was absolutely fantastic. I ordered veggie samosas, garlic and plain naan, butter chicken and lamb vindaloo. Not many places get a 10/10 in my books. Clean, friendly, Covid-19 compliant, and absolutely delicious. Will definitely be coming back.
Absolutely delicious food and great ambience. Really fast service for dine in and takeout. My favourite was the tandoori chicken and it was well cooked and delicious. Overall was great dine in experience.
The food at The Curry Pott was delicious. The Chili Chicken and the Chili Garlic Naan tasted really good. The spice level 4 from 6 was a good choice, as it was hot after a couple of spoons into the meal without being dominant.
