This is a fascinating Chinese mall to venture through. The majority of their products is their groceries in the farm market area. There are plenty of fresh produce, meat and baked goods that might pique your interest. A lot of the stores in the rest of the mall are pretty interesting to look at. My only complaint is that the mall can be a little confusing to navigate, especially since the layout of the mall goes into a couple loops and there a couple floors as well, which I did not look into. This is a good mall to look around in.
Hobby JR is located on the 2nd level of Crystall Mall in Burnaby. Seems rather popular! They also had card games going on when I visited. Teens to young adult crowd. It is a blessing to see constructive social interaction for this age group particularly this age grouped had experienced the covid 19 pandemic lock down during their young lives.
If you’re after an authentic Chinese market vibe, this spot delivers. The ground floor mixes groceries with small specialty shops, while the second level is lined with food stalls serving everything from hand-pulled noodles to bubble tea. The layout is a bit of a maze, so plan on wandering—and maybe doubling back—to find everything. Underground parking is free but tight, so bring your small-car parking skills. All in all, a lively one-stop hub for shopping, snacking, and people-watching.
I enjoy the hubbub of Crystal Mall. It feels like there's so much going on whenever I visit - so many shops, so many people, so much colour and action.n.nVancouver can sometimes feel too quiet and lifeless, but Crystal Mall is the joyful opposite that lifts my spirit!
Absolutely the worst parking lot in which I have seen in my life. The design defies all logic—it’s a concrete maze with narrow lanes, tight corners, and zero visibility. Because of the chaotic circular layout, traffic jams form out of nowhere. Getting out on a weekend can literally take longer than your actual shopping or lunch. The parking spots are small, drivers get stressed and aggressive, and pedestrians pop out from behind pillars. Honestly, the food and shops inside are great, but it's just not worth the stress. If you have any alternative, park elsewhere or walk.
