Finally made it in for dinner after always wanting to but never having the chance. The service was fast and friendly. The food was excellent and very tasty. I just found the portions were a little small, otherwise I'll go back and recommend going here to anyone! Try the patio.
Nice casual place. In door and out door seating. We sat inside was it was a little breezy. Beer was cold came quick. We only had i light lunch. Loaded Nachos with beef. They don’t have Guacamole so don’t ask. it says that on the menu LOL. The nachos were fair. Service excellent, place is very clean including washrooms. Place good country music. My wife loves country. Would defiantly come back.
We stopped here for lunch when passing through town. The menu looked good and i ended up getting the pesto goat cheese flatbread. Service was friendly. The food was tasty and we got bacon butter tarts to go. Yum.
Stopped by for late lunch while on holiday. Place was busy but they soon made room for our party of 5. Food was great and plentiful. Our server Lesley was charming. However, have emailed them three times re: a lost article and received no response.
Food was amazing! Friendly service and fairly priced. We had fish n chips wings nachos and the crispy chicken wrap. Endless options on the menu food and drinks were amazing!
Brisket was good………..but that where it ends. Yes this food truck food is in north Whitehorse. It’s located attached to a gas station so I should have expected it to be on par with an all day rolling hotdog like a 7/11. But if you are going to charge regular restaurant food prices from a big city you better have the culinary techniques to follow it up. Creole/Cajun food is hard and not just plowing dry spice on food and hoping it passes for the price you have to pay. To start the dining room was cold and the table we were sitting at was sticky. There was plenty of room at 6pm on a Sunday. We ordered a kale salad which was served on a stainless steel tray with a beyond sweet balsamic dressing with very miss balanced garnished accompaniments of pickled pears and peelings of pickled carrots, pecans and deep fried Brussel sprouts. Then my friend had chicken fingers and deep fried Brussel sprouts $19 !! the chicken fingers were almost black because of the deep frier oil was pass the point of actually being able to be used and should have been changed before service and heavy on the salt. Along with the grease ladened sprouts which were so uneatable we had to send them back and they were replaced with the same grease/salty awfulness as before we didn’t eat them. I order a platter of brisket which was just ….ok…..6/10 for a smoke house along with Dry dry dry and stringy pulled pork 2/10 and a few sauces which were pre-portioned in 2oz clear covered solo portion containers days before only on noticing the leather of dry sauce as we tried to dip our food through the dehydrated top. The smoked bbq sauce was just the regular bbq sauce with way to much liquid hickory smoked added …gross to say the least. The “Cajun” fries were as good as the brisket but unfortunately they were covered with so much salt on top of the cajun spice they were disgusting and I had to drink tons of water after I left to balance my stomach as my body was angry with me for eating them. I also noticed that the “buttermilk fried chicken” on another table was sooooo black from the over used deep fryer oil it made me glad that I didn’t order them. And if this was a “Saloon” the only bar I saw was 5 tall uncomfortable looking stools against a wall with a railing and no real bar to sit at. I feel like this “Food Truck” has over stepped its boundaries on trying to make it as a restaurant a first year culinary educated student out of college could have done a better job. After sending back a dish and not eating the revised sprouts our server noticed and never offered any compensation and then explained that the fries we salty because of the Cajun spice………ya….$70 dollars of wasted money. Stick to the food truck I hear it was better.
I found that the food was basic pub grub with quantities and quality not matching the price. Limited seating and a small kid wandering around the food prep area touching things. Not really impressed with this restaurant.
Went there sober after work just going for a couple drinks and had a DD and the cut me off after 2 drinks, they said I have to eat something so even if your not hungry they force you to pay for food. I do not recommend this place if you just want to have a couple casual drinks they will force you to buy food.
The poutine is incredible! The customer service was also perfect - I brought my very elderly grandfather for some quality time. Unfortunately I had not planned ahead to book a table. Despite the restaurant being quite full, the staff found a way to seat us immediately.
Great meal. Took my mother for her 95th birthday. They took great care of us.Food: 5/5
