Amazing food and service. Perfect for a dinner to celebrate as it is a bit pricey but so worth it. The steak tartare and scallops crudo are SO good. Highly recommend getting the rib eye steak to share along with the heirloom carrots and one other side. And of course you have to have the sticky toffee pudding. I always look forward to an amazing meal here!
Common Stove is a great spot with delicious food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Everything we tried was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. The menu has a nice variety, and you can tell quality ingredients are used. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Definitely a place worth visiting again—I highly recommend it.
This was my third visit to The Common Stove and my family’s first — and, just as I promised them, everything about the experience was outstanding. The food, service, and atmosphere all lived up to the high expectations I’ve come to associate with this place.nnOur server, Rachel, was excellent — friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. She stayed perfectly in tune with our table the entire evening. The steak was cooked exactly to order and was absolutely delicious, and the chop house potatoes were a true delicacy — a must-try for anyone dining here.nnEven after a long drive to get to The Common Stove, we all agreed it was worth every mile. Highly recommended!
We drove up from the city on a Sunday evening just for the Sunday Roast, and it was absolutely worth it. The prime rib was one of the best I’ve ever had. We also tried the steak tartare, the filet, a side of fries, and the chop house potatoes, all of which were perfect. The sticky toffee pudding should not be missed as well. The service was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend making the drive here.
Wonderful locally sourced food and A+ service. My favorite aspect was the atmosphere, it somehow gives sophisticated jazz bar despite there being no brass section. The menu provides options accommodating of most dietary restrictions. An absolute local gem!
