The haddock is well over cooked and tasteless. Fried sweet potatoes use ketchup as dipping sauce. Put some cooking oil would make vegetable better.
This place used to be great. I've watched management reprimanding staff out on the floor and that was a huge turn off. The food needs updating. The menu hasn't changed in forever and seems to be stuck in the 70's. They aren't open in the evenings either which is inconvenient. The staff however are awesome and very very friendly. It will likely be them that makes me return because the food was nothing special. They do cater to an older crowd and I suppose it's nice that they have a go to spot to go, but it certainly won't draw younger customers.
I'm never sure if I should mention some things during this Covid time. But assuming that you may want to go for lunch while we still have covid-19 on, I will. With the coffee mill, I found the food to be as good as normal and no complaints there at all. However, I did find that the servers were a little overworked for the amount of people that they had to look after and I did find that the prices seem to have gone up somewhat, as I ordered an omelet with none of the side dishes except some sausage and the coffee to drink. This came in at $19 and change.
Great prices and great food. Good ace to come to support local. Although the Lancaster mall's shop numbers are declining, it's always worth it to drop in and try the coffee mill.
Went for a quick lunch while out shopping and waited over an hour for the food. It had busy, but to wait that long seemed excessive. The waitress didn't stop by to refresh at drinks at all during the wait. The food was okay when it arrived but the overall service was lacking
I used to love to go there and have haddock every Friday. Service has gone downhill after the corona lockdown. Their hours aren’t updated on Google so today I got there and it was closed, he said.
Very nice wait staff. Food was good. Took quite a while for food to come out, but if you have the time it's pretty good.
Price to portion size is just right. You can count on the menu staying the same. Seating nicely spread out to deal with covid-19. Staff are always friendly.
Hi ya was there a wk ago & it's a good restaurant food is good & I am from St.Stephen. We usually go there a lot of the time. Too bad it's closing...Sad....
Good value in a clean friendly setting. Frequented by a more senior crowd. Great Philly Cheese Steak. Other favourites are fisherman's platter and turkey dinner.
