Stopped for a late lunch while on Fogo island. Great little diner with food that tastes great. Service was great also despite being quite busy. We had cod bites and fish cakes. Both were delicious.

I don't get a chance to dine out here on fogo very often.  Cod Jigger was my breakfast stop this time.  Great atmosphere.  I ordered the fisherman's breakfast and was pleasantly surprised.  I'm full.  The plate is cleaned. The food was great .  I found the staff very friendly and enjoyed my visit.  Totally recommend stopping over to this restaurant on fogo Island!

Delicious fish and chips,  scallops. Great service. Friendly staff, fair prices.  Definately worth the stop while visiting the GILL family roots on Fogo Island. Can't wait for next visit.Food: 5/5

What a gem of a restaurant. A must must try if you’re in Fogo. Best recommendation, ‘Satisfaction’ on the bottom of light lunch menu. The house made gravy and the golden fries with ground beef make it one hell of a meal. Absolutely amazing.

Recently stopped here for lunch. This restauramt offers great food, big portions and friendly service. This is also a fuel station. Highly recommended!

The code is out of this world.  The batter is a light salt and pepper coating and didn't overpower the fish.  It wasn't thick, rather light and powdery. The staff seemed tired, but friendly.  I've eaten here both times that I visited Fogo.

We were recently on Fogo Island on vacation and decided to drop by for fish and chips, as I heard this is done right at this place.  The coating on the fish was excellent, and the fish tasted very fresh.  Perhaps just a tad over-cooked but definitely a worthwhile place for food on the Island.  The fries were nothing special, but tasty, well-seasoned fried cod is enough reason to go.

Good variety of options in the one building. Servers were nice. Accommodated for my baby.  Food was a little bland but I'd still much rather it be unsalted rather than over salted so I didn't really mind.

A great lunch after getting off the ferry! Pretty simple fare, but I had a delicious cod sandwich! Definitely recommended.
