This is a cute and clean motel. Our room had shag carpet from the 70's that we thought was fantastic!! It's definitely dated, but the owners are so friendly and they put a lot of work into the upkeep and cleanliness of the motel. The wifi is slow - but that was no issue for us.

Spent the night here on our trip around Lake Superior. Nice friendly folks. Rooms were clean and ours looked like it had been updated with new flooring in the bathroom. Only downside, we stopped right after a hatch of flys, so we had to stay in our rooms and couldn't spend time outside. I would stay here again

Great spot to celebrate Terry Fox's fantastic contributions to Canadian history. See if you can try and stay in room 10 like he did. Be sure to go across the street to Terry Fox Beach and dip your toes in JackFish Lake like Terry did.

Charming roadside motel that was clean, comfortable and worth the price. Extra bonus was being a few minutes walk from the swimmable Jackfish Lake.
