Everything is fine, until you actually need to make a claim. Had a minor fender bender with my automobile in August. Good luck receiving answers or help from adjusters assigned to your claim. Then Hurricane Fiona hit. And my home was severely damaged. 3 months later and many unreturned calls and emails, and I have received little to no help regarding the claim. The adjuster assigned to the claim absolutely refuses to answer emails or phone calls. This has been an unbelievable experience. Been a Cooperators customer for over 30 years. But when a claim I'd required, you find out how helpful your insurance company really is. Horrible, horrible, experience!

One of the worst insurance companies ever!! Had an accident claim that is still ongoing for months and no action taken for more than 8 months! My adjuster RISHI BALA is one of the worst adjuster you will ever find! He is so inexperienced and irresponsible! In my 8 month period since the accident, I was not even able to talk to him even ONCE! He is always out of office and never picks up the call nor does he call back! So irresponsive and zero communication and I have no idea how he is even holding his job still without even responding to customers!! We, as customers pay the money more than we could in hopes that we get proper service and this is what we get in return! So disappointing!

Thinking about getting your employee benefits from this company? Don't waste your time. Horrible customer service. Made me jump through hoops for 12 months about a claim that they denied. Had they given me the proper feedback in the beginning, I could have avoided all this wasted time and I could have resolved this in order to get the claim processed. Manulife and Great West Life are WAY more friendly and helpful.

Was first given Omer Ijtemaye as an adjuster and he did absolutely nothing other then pick his buddies body shop that billed for installing factory parts when they only used aftermarket that don't fit right and did poor paint job that is already failing after 6 months. When I complained I was given Greg who at least got the job going after months but still took 7 months the fix bumper and box side. Body shop used aftermarket parts on a new truck and now dealer won't warranty because they aren't factory parts or even right parts for truck. Body shop also used my truck to run for parts, lunch and race other vehicles. Nothing was done about it despite multiple emails sent. Too bad claims isn't half as good as my local office

if you decide to go through the co-operators, ask for Ina Bhambi. she was amazing! helped me out tremendously even after i had an issue in the past, she fixed everything for me quick and easy. a pleasure to work with! thanks again Ina!!!

The worst among all at Co-operators Claims Department experienced and disappointment with the service I received from RISHI BALASURBRAMANIAN AT clients care at Co-operators in 5600 Cancross Court, Mississauga . As a long-time policyholder, I expected a higher level of support when I needed to file a claim. The process was confusing and time-consuming, and I found it difficult to get answers to my questions. Your representatives were often unresponsive and seemed unwilling to help. Additionally, the settlement I received was significantly lower than what I had expected. I feel like I was taken advantage of and that my policy was not worth the money I paid. I am deeply disappointed by my experience and do not feel that I received the level of service that I deserve as a loyal policyholder. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. Not recommended this insurance company.

The Cooperators are a horrible insurance company that did nothing but cause financial hardship in my not at fault hit and run accident. The adjuster Olivia Greenland delayed my case, taking over 70 days to resolve my file, & left me to pay 98% of storage fees leaving me with over $5,000 bill. Maddison McCarthy and Christa Goodall were also adjusters who were also misleading and intentionally delayed my case causing undue hardship. DO NOT sign with Cooperators Group, they may be cheap but they WILL NOT HELP YOU when you have an accident and all three adjusters were unethical and discriminative towards me. Horrible company with bad business practice and taking advantage of vulnerable clients!!! I am shocked lawyers aren't suing them as they rip off Canadians!

Never had to make a claim so I can't speak to the products. Rates were good, but I left for a significantly lower rate on my home policy for comparable coverage. Service was always quick and polite.

Clueless when it comes to claims. Noting but heel dragging. Impossible to reach adjuster. 12 days later and still no progress. No communication internally amongst employees, repeatedly ask for same information that has already been provided.
