I played the South Course. The greens were a bit dry and patchy we were warned by the marshal ahead of time that they were working on it. Some pin placements were more challenging. Otherwise, the course is nice and well-maintained. The pace of play is good. Bonus that electric carts and warm-up balls for the range are included in the fairly reasonable green fee.
Just played this weekend and it was a great experience. The course is challenging but not to a point that it’s impossible. I would suggest that this is not the first course you play if you are a beginner. The overall condition of the course is amazing. Everything is immaculate and very well taken care of. Also at check in the attendant treated us very well they even had our name printed for our carts. Will be back for sure it’s a nice treat to play at this course.
There are many elevation changes, some extreme on the North course. Greens are fast with many slopes. Green sizes are medium to large. Lots of green and fairway sandtraps. Fairways in good shape and fairly narrow. Would like to play the South course. Here it is flatter more links style. Overall a unique course to play. Very nice golf carts. Good drive range. Make sure you keep your cart on the path at thee tee boxes.
Played on the South course - Very beautiful mature course with some great challenging fairways and greens. Course was well maintained, club house is great! Also has a nice range that you may use before your round. One of the nicer courses In my opinion.
This used to be a very nice course. It's in a beautiful setting with great views and the holes are challenging.. However... The fairways are so dry the ball bounces super high and often rolls away. The greens are very dry and damaged. It's hard to put through the burnt greens. It was nice last time I was there... Very disappointing.. And full price too! Next time I will check current reviews before booking.
One of the slowest rounds I've ever played. Backed up from the first hole. 2 hours and 45 in to finish the front. No marshall on the course. Greens are in terrible condition, very inconsistent, for a "premium" course. Way better public courses out there.
Since becoming a GolfNorth course, it’s been downhill. Horrible condition. Weeds everywhere. Decaying turf. Poor quality for the 130 they ding you for. Live 15 mins from here but will never play again. Im not a big reviewer but feel compelled to help people avoid this trap.
Played the South Coarse for the first time, really enjoyed it. The North is a real challenge , especially in windy conditions. The south is much more forgiving tee to green. Great early season round.
Absolutely gorgeous conditions!! Played the south and cant say enough good things about the greens staff!! Pace of play was great and even after some pretty heavy rain the greens were rolling nice!! Started out carypath only but before the front 9 was done we were back to scatter. Half was house was open and stocked up nicely with hot food options and sandwiches.
Course has a great layout. Some greens have damage or bad grass growth. Disappointing that a course at this price has no ball washers on course or on the carts.
