Proprietors David Gallo and Toni Vulaj have more than 25 years in the food-service industry bringing a professionalism that rivals any New York City quality steakhouse. As we entered we were warmly greeted, our server was excellent. Place was empty bc we got there for lunch early as we were returning our dtr back to URI. Our server very attentive and very pleasant. We ordered sandwiches which were on soft rolls and were very delicious, ck Parm, ck and Reubens, so good. Clam chowder and onion soup were excellent. Place was large and staff friendly. Great parking.
We went for lunch. Service and the food was perfect. Unfortunately I was having such a good time at lunch I forgot my credit card at the table. Well, Chophouse Grille solved that too! They were kind enough to mail my card to me. Thank you for great service, great food and going above and beyond.
Last meal we had in Narragansett for the weekend. And left on a very good note. Oddly enough, may have been the best chicken tenders I've ever had in my life. They're famous for them here! Drenched in a special sauce, they were unreal. Raw bar was great too, as well as some hot apps, and the entree did not disappoint. We came early so there weren't many people there, but the waiter was very friendly and talkative, which I liked!
BEST BUFFALO TENDERS OF ALL TIME!! Okay so I would say I get buffalo tenders often and have had them at so many restaurants. Including ones who brag about their tenders. But this place has the best BY A LONG SHOT! Perfectly juicy, drenched in buffalo sauce but still EXTREMELY CRISPY!! Absolutely incredible! I also had gotten the French onion soup which was delicious. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. But 11/10 tenders. I hope they never change the recipe.
We had my dad's 80th birthday celebration here recently. Everything was great! The 2 servers were very attentive and wanted to be sure everything was right - great service. The food was very good and beyond what we expected. Even planning the event with Diana was an easy process. Thanks for making the birthday celebration something to remember!
Fantastic! Great food and atmosphere. Our waiter, Jack was very accommodating and friendly. We had a large group of 11 with children and he couldn't be better. Steak, seafood, apps, and kids meals were delicious. Definitely we will be back!
This is the second time we ate here while visiting our grandson who just started at URI. Our grandson's ribeye was cooked perfectly; so was my wife's seafood with pasta and my gnocchi chicken The fresh bread with sweet cinnamon butter was awesome and out of this world! Leo, our server was friendly and courteous! Can not wait to come back again on our next trip in December!
Calamari made my wife dance. Chowder actually tasted like a chowder. Main entrees needed just a little work to get a fifth star. They were out of brûlée, but did everything to try to make it up to us.
Everything was absolutely, perfect! We had James as a server and it was clear from the beginning he has a passion for mixology and food!! Our drinks were perfect and made fresh! Each plate was described in enough detail that it was hard to choose because it all sounded so good. Our choices were all as good as they sounded down to the sides. Will definitely be back!
Can’t say enough good things about Chophouse. The cuts of beef are fantastic, the fish and chips is out of this freaking world, and the gnocchi chicken…man oh man. I literally can’t get enough of this place. Make sure you try the beef empanadas, and the Old Meets New Fashion if you’re into bourbon. Place has it all. Food, drinks, location, atmosphere, staff. 10/10
