We called in with an order for pickup, I went to pick it up at the time they told us it would be ready. The server told me it wasn’t ready yet, and so I had to wait… 45 minutes later now 65 min from time of order they finally brought out my order. The manager apologized and said the kitchen is slammed… I don’t understand why anyone should have to wait over an hour to get an order. When I got home 5 min drive; the food was all cold, we had to reheat what we could in the microwave.nMy Donair was sitting in a pool of liquid and was so soggy it was falling apart and the paper wrapper was sticking to it.. We didn't stand at the door for too long before we walked in to seat ourselves. Finally got noticed and seated outside which was nice. Our server recommended a drink which was perfect for me. I had apps, hubby had a chicken burger. The steak bites were THE BEST! The Yorkies with thin sliced beef and gravy were a bit confusing to my palate. I have a hard time eating Yorkshire Pudding with a smokey BBQ sauce. I think they would have been so much better with the gravy that was provided with the fries. Although the chicken was quite a thin patty, hubby said it good.
Just a warning to those ordering takeout. They took complete advantage of the fact that I ordered through skip and can’t complain or get refund. For starters the $20+ appetizer of 3 cheese spinach dip tasted like it had gone off. It also looked like a bowl of grey vomit. Tortilla chips were delicious. Second, my main of chicken burger was a piece of chicken so thinly sliced that it had the consistency of leather. These 2 items cost me nearly $50.
The food was decent and the server was amazing but it was so loud in there we couldn’t have a conversation with the people sitting at our table.nnI had the tacos, one of each. Skip the ground beef and the donair tacos, chicken is the best followed by fish.nnThe nachos were super loaded with toppings, not evenly dispersed though, I ran out of chips with a huge pile of toppings in the middle.nnAlso I throughly hate that they serve anything that comes in a basket in a keg bottom. It’s unnecessarily bulky and takes up way too much room, I’m sorry but that’s just ridiculous.
my girlfriend and I had to stand waiting at the door while the servers completely ignored us. We finally got seated, but the service was excruciatingly slow from there. We ordered wings and they arrived promptly, yet it took a full 20 minutes just to get the ranch dressing—by which point the wings had turned soggy and cold.
