Stopped by for a couple of drinks during the Canucks game night. I might be wrong, but it looks like this place was a local dive bar before, and at some point, it was updated to become a taphouse type of establishment so popular these days. The host was amiable, and the service was all right. Considering how many great breweries there are in a walking distance, I think they have a poor choice of brews. The cocktail menu, on the other hand, is excellent. There are mussels on the list of September specials, and they came with a strong fennel/anise taste. I can't say I was a big fan of that. I also thought that the suggested tips amount starting from 18% is a bit too ambitious. But that's just my opinion. I see how this place can be popular with many locals, so give it a chance.
Went to this pub for lunch. If you're on a tight timeline avoid this place. I was half an hour late getting back from lunch and I work five min away. Service and food were slow. The food had good flavour but my beef in my short rib sandwich was very stringy and chewy. Beer was a good price but not a huge variety.
Decent food. Great atmosphere with plenty of televisions. Pub noise wasnt too loud to drown out your conversations. Just a reminder if u order “short rib” be more specific. Received the main dish instead of the sandwich. Overall great place to chill rather than the brewery strip.
This place has great food. Really good beer selection and when we went there we had possibly some of the best service i can remember in recent years.
Friendly staff, great environment. Social distancing. The lettuce wrap had a lot of vegetables and nothing a lot of other things. It would have been great if there was enough filling for the lettuce. Most of it was left.
Stopped in, always curious since it had good ratings...we enjoyed salt & pepper wings and the yam fries...can't wait to head there for an evening meal
Service was fantastic, food was amazing, tried the Burrard Ultimate burger because I wanted to see what a $28 burger tasted like, couldn't finish it but not disappointed in the least!!!
I try to support businesses in my community and have been going to this liquor store for years. The fellow who runs the place is great and the selection is good with decent prices hence the 3 stars. I went in today and the person working the check out was void of any level of customer service. I almost got the feeling I was an inconvenience to what ever she was doing before I got there. No smile, no greeting, tried chatting a bit and nothing. Customer service isn't hard but some folks just don't have it.
This place quickly became my favorite pub in the neighborhood. First of all, the people working here are friendly and make you feel welcome and safe. The menu has both traditional pub food, and some more interesting dishes. Alongside the regular menu, this pub has monthly specials that are absolutely worth trying. They also offer a good selection of interesting cocktails. Finally, at last call you can add a to-go bag with soda, alcohol, and snacks. I love this place and appreciate their efforts to adjust to the current situation.
Decent nachos and craft beer selection. Decent service too.
