absolutely amazing atmosphere to host a party or event! They have spacious rooms to fit the size of your party or event that are clean , modern and classy looking. I attended a post christening dinner there and the food and service was top notch! The waitress and waiters were helpful and professional . I do wish the manager did not tell something to the waitress while she was helping us because i felt bad for her but it wasn’t that big of a deal. Everyone was helpful and I felt we were at a five star restaurant! AMAZING food! i had the salmon oreganato and it was so delicious! They cook in large quantities very well! It was a 100 person event and the food was NOT dry or tasteless, but juicy and delicious ! The bartender not sure of his name but i think he wore glasses , dark hair and said he was colombian , he gave great service and went out of his way to make a margarita and thought outside the box by using the sugar packets from the table instead of telling me he didn’t have sugar for my drink . He should be recognized for that ! overall i enjoyed my time. If the waiters wore a bit more professional outside such as not modern tight pants and such that may add that extra touch of class, but it was not too outlandish - they looked great overall
Fantastic food, but the matradee could have been better. He seated us between two loud parties with little kids running around us, which was not exactly how you want to celebrate your anniversary. The food was good at least
Wow! Beautiful building, dates back to 1851. Modernized the inside while keeping the original walls. Every year my husband and I find a fancy restaurant for our birthday dinners. This was my birthday selection. We were seated in the main dining room. There is a more casual bar area, a cigar area in the basement, and several large rooms for private parties. Hostess Angela was so sweet and bubbly. As she led us to our table, she told every wait staff it was my birthday lol Seafood Tower - love the idea and the visual presentation but everything was like ice... I know Seafood has to be cold but this was too cold. Cold Lobster does not taste good. : would have liked to have the butter to dip. Lump Crab was flavorless... Clams were ok. Oysters and Shrimps were the better items. New York Strip Au Poivre - Magnificent! This made me forget the tower. The sauce complimented the steak like they were made for each other! Cajun Delmonico Ribeye - Wow! It came with a sauce that was not needed. Never thought to put Cajun spices on a steak lol Our sides were Safron Rice yummy Baked Potato with sour cream and chives and Escarole Garlic & Oil something different Key Lime Pie - tart! But with the whip cream it was perfect. If it's your birthday let them know and Rolando will sing happy birthday in a beautiful operatic voice. Wonderful time. Excellent service by Edgar and Luis Miguel. Highly recommend The Brick House, especially for a special occasion
Started at bar drinks and apps not cheap but all was well...even after screaming woman patron not happy... Host said non flattering things about women In front of us. Escorted to our table in a corner 15 minutes later no waiter only 2 tables. I got up and asked for help...I ordered double veal chop medium mostly grizzle and not cooked raw and sent it back. Second time good but really it's Wednesday Night. 250.00 and I should have got a reach around. Note to Aldo find a buyer for the land make Condos.
Been going here for years. Aldo knows how to run a restaurant The food is consistent and well worth the cost. Drinks are a good size. They have a cigar bar downstairs good for the casual diner that doesn't mind cigar smoke. Upstairs the bar area is good either upscale or casual. The dining room is beautiful and appropriate for a special occasion , a romantic dinner or just a fun night out. I recommend the grilled octopus and the double cut veal chop. Go! You wont be sorry...
Great food, excellent service, beautiful restaurant
Been going to the Brick House for years, and the food never quite loves up to its potential. Great atmosphere and reliably friendly service, but meat which they feature prominently is often overcooked and some of the staples, like the cheese bread, are just... not very good.Food: 3/5
My family and I had the worst experience here. This used to be our favorite place. Gabriella Garces was supposed to assist in an event plan for my family. She was extremely rude and condescending. She was not helpful at all in providing the ideal party we had wanted. You can tell she does not value the customers. I’m not sure if this was just a one time thing but she definitely drove away our business permanently. She has a terrible attitude.
First class dining and atmosphere. A rare find in the suburbs that is not overly pretentious, with good service, very good food, and nice bar. Not cheap by any means, but the value is there and the food delivers Parking: Plenty of it
Nice place with old world charm. Spacious dining area, I love that the tables are not crammed together but have ample room between them. Food is pricey but good for the most part. Caesar salad was underwhelming but better than average it's so hard to find a really good one. Double-cut pork chops arribiata were perfectly cooked and tender, but spicier than I thought they would be. Other items in my group were the beef short ribs and Delmonico steak. All were enjoyed, as were the baked potatoes and side salads. Service could have been more attentive. Our waiter disappeared and we had to flag him down through another staff member after waiting a long time for him to circle back to our table. A good experience, but for the same price range and food quality, Morton's or the Stony Hill Inn are more enjoyable overall.
