Little insight on why my review is low 1 everyone in the store was closed off to me and just said you can do it online, which I find strange especially if they do get commission 2 I had to go in to pay the taxes on my couch I purchased online as online for payment didn't accept my card 3 The thing that bugged me the most is I called the day my couch was arriving and just asked if it was there, or when it would in . I alsojust asked if by any chance I could get it late morning early afternoon, as u I work from home and was working that evening. They said they'd try and would call when the truck showed up before 1:00pm. 2:15pm rolls around no word from them so I call. Talked to the one woman, she passed me to her manager? I believe to talk to who gave me a call back 5 minutes later no problem. She was very rude, she said you know you can't pick your delivery time online so why would you think you can call and pick on, just choose a different date to have it delivered... I'm like I picked this date because it does indeed work best for me. I said could they deliver at 5:15pm I have a few minutes then, she said yes. Okay that's great, I know there timing is unpredictable delivering so they were 30 minutes late whatever at this point they bring in 3 MASSIVE boxes I said you can put them in here and assemble. When I paid the taxes I double checked they'd build it I was told yes, as I paid $85 to have it delivered in town! If I known they wouldn't I would have grabbed it myself, so after both my partner and I worked we spent 2 hours assembling this couch and breaking down these massive boxes! The only this I was impressed with was the couch, the rat just broke my will to ever purchase from here so I choose the brick Goderich to stay local, and I'm very disappointed with my experience.
Searched through a wide variety of accent chairs to find the style I was looking for. Went in, showed them, they brought me right to it. Showed me some colors to pick from and found it in one I like. Then the tag on the chair had a cheaper price on it so I got a surprise deal! The staff was very helpful and informative thanks Brian Reed tldr: wide variety, great experience
Was searching for a new mattress for a while and found the variety of choices confusing. Angela helped me navigate through both brands and features to narrow focus on two options. Neither were on sale at the time and left Angela my name and number to call when/if one of the options went on sale. That happened today and now it’s case closed. Thank you Angela for your commitment to customer service.
Brian the store manager went above and beyond to get me the dishwasher ASAP! I highly recommend The Brick in Goderich. They are great to deal with!
Dealt with Brian the Manager , he steered us in the right direction and was extremely knowledgeable about our purchases, and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We would deal with him any time in the future without hesitation .
The manager was out to my place today and measured my mattress. It can’t be warranted as not 1 1/2 inches I understand It was on not even 1/2 inch. Thanks for explaining how it’s done.
My sales rep Jeff was really helpful and I bought right away. Will shop here again .. love the service from all the people here Goderich rocks.
We spoke to Brian regarding upgrading our appliances, he was friendly and courteous. Brian was very informative and helpful. We could tell he was knowledgeable about the products .
At first had an extremely frustrating experience. I would like to specifically say thank you to Brian at the Brick for more than making up for the issue by personally delivering the item and apologizing for it, it’s a good way to keep repeat customers.
We are moving, so new house means new furniture, right? Since our old furniture was, well, old, we wanted to just ditch it and buy new. So we went into the Brick to look around at our options. Jeff greeted us and asked if we needed any help, and after we said we were looking for now, he let us be. We definitely appreciate that over the helicoptering you experience in most stores. Every so often Jeff would check in with us to make sure we were good, and every so often we would have questions for him, but the ability to browse without the constant pressure of someone over your shoulder was amazing. When we had found something we liked, we let Jeff know and he was super helpful in getting us figured out. The entire experience was perfect. As for the store: it was clean and organized. The lighting could probably be a bit better, but it wasn't too bad. We had been to another Brick a few days before in another town, and their store was a lot less organized and no one even greeted us!. This store was definitely a good experience for us. Thanks Jeff!
