My permanent residence is in New Jersey but I spend the summer and fall in Lenox. Regardless of the time of the year I order my books for pleasure reading always from the Lenox bookstore. My problem is that once I am in the store i forget to leave. It is that kind of a literary sanctuary,
Great independent bookstore! Owner is helpful and fun! Wrapping is perfect traditional bookstore style with nice image of the store.
This is a wonderful bookstore. The titles are well-chosen with no dross. The owner, Matt, is delightful and knows a lot about books and local history. I came here almost every day I was in Lenox.
The best selection. Very knowledgeable and kind owner. Anytime we’re near the Berkshires, we make a stop here.
Love this place! Cozy and crowded with books like a bookstore should be. Thoughtful collections, brainy but not intimidating. And a wine bar too! My kind of place. Hope to return soon!
