Fantastic selection of books, my first time I picked up 4 books for a very fair price. Old classics mixed with new titles, the man who helped me was also very friendly and helpful. Really cosy setting, surely for any reader you will find what you are looking for in here and if you don't then ask the owner as he's ready to reccomend! Will certainly be going back!
loved it! a tiny second-hands only English bookstore in a quiet neighbourhood, and a gentle British shop keeper! Well worth a visit!
It will improve your life immediately to get to know this wonderful institution! If you are either after great language support or an excellent read or both, stop on by.
Extensive collection of English books ranging from crime fiction to art history. The guy working there was super nice and helpful too : Definitely recommended !
It is small shop but the person is really friendly He gave me really good suggestion for finding her right book
The place has a lot of selections for the actual size of the store. I love how jam packed it actually is. But some prominent authors that i was looking for just wasn't there Tolstoy, Houllebecque, pynchon and plath. The vast majority of the book is very fairly priced and affordable, but there are some that basically cost the same as new ones "the trouble with being born" cost the same with a new one
I had high hopes for this wonderful little bookshop and I was not disappointed! The owners are helpful and kind, while the selection of books is wide, varying from classics to rare little treasures waiting to be discovered. 5/5!
I had been meaning to go here for quite some time and I finally made it today unfortunately the owner/employee was sitting outside chatting with someone and their conversation killed any interest of mine to buy books there. The person they were chatting with was going on about how cyclon b couldn’t have been used in the gas chambers and how the numbers are inaccurate. I had to leave I couldn’t listen to it any longer, I just wanted cry.
Nice selection of used English and Dutch!!! books, but even nicer conversations with Alex and William who own/run this friendly queer space. Great book recommendations even beyond their own collection and interesting exchange of ideas was what we most enjoyed. Whenever we visit Berlin from Belgium we'll try to come back here.
Great little book shop in a nice neighbourhood with a small but healthy selection of genres and titles in good condition. Regarding the one-star review made by someone else; if you go into a second hand book shop expecting to buy anything for 50 cents in 2021, you are delusional. Maybe in 1992 or at the worst flea markets you could do this? The prices here are more than fair and no more expensive than any other similar place.
