The Bogie General Store

Full hardware store which is very helpful for the community and cottagers. Crocs for if you need sandals, typical convenience store items, and a fairy door! Fun for the kids. Been going here since it was Munfords. A staple for Calabogie.

Great place to stop when on the bike or on the sxs. Closes at 6pm so make sure you arrive on time. Friendly staff and exterior bathrooms on site.

This is a terrific hardware store with a remarkable selection of products. Better than many box stores in larger centres. And if you need custom paint mixed, Ed is a genius at that!

This store is Calabogie’s best gem for cottage owners and every fix it person! Astounding selection of hardware items. It’s not a restaurant like somebody told me in error, but it has an uncanny stock of everything I’ve needed to do all the repair and installation jobs around my vacation property. Just pop in for a look around and then you’ll have some idea what I’m talking about. Ed’s prices are as reasonable as big box stores, and I don’t have to drive to Renfrew or Arnprior!

The Times on Google for your hours open should be changed considering you were closed before 630 on a Saturday and on Google it says 8 PM.

The old guy who runs the pump most days is great. Other than that the staff need to be better trained. The young kid didn't put my gas cap back on so I lost it plus a bunch of gas, and ruined the paint on my vehicle. I've had another guy completely fail to pump the gas into my tank just sprayed it on the side of my vehicle, said sorry and that was it. Take it how you want, I'll still be going back there but will be requesting to pump my own fuel from now on.
