Very warm, cozy and welcoming atmosphere and decoration inside. Nice staff and good service in general. Food is delicious but not the best in town. Fish and chips was delicious and portion of the plate was decent. I wish they more selection of fish available. Steak and burger are very average. Prices are fair compared to location and food. They did not have Yam fries available so we ended up to get regular fries. Parking is available, but it could get super busy because of the park. I would prefer lunches here because you will get a better ocean view.
The parking here sucked. We were late for our dinner renovations because it all said "cannot park here" and their actual parking spot was very small and it gets busy. Other than that, the food was delicious and the steak was fresh but I thought it was a little bit small for a steak. The pasta was delicious tho definitely worth trying their seafood pasta. You get a free dessert if you mentioned it's their birthday. Had my birthday here and thank you for the cake . Overall, it was a good night there for sure!
Exceptional service and great dishes. Everything in this restaurant is presented in its own best, warmed dishes shows how professional they are in this business. Great taste starts from their fries and goes to everything in their menu. Make sure you try their Truffle Brussels sprout and the wild green salad. I would also appreciate Jack for the service he provided.
I had an amazing lunch here. Great prices and great service! The food was amazing. We had the blackened chicken sandwich, and the fish tacos. They were yummy! So good! The view is amazing.
If you love seafood this is definitely the place to go. Everything on their menu has seafood incorporated into it. The service was good, and the drinks were delicious. There was a huge party of 10 Adults and all their children there for a birthday party that were sitting right behind us. We came for a very nice dinner celebrating our friend and the kids at the table behind us were throwing food, screaming, and running around the tables. It was a bit disappointing because we came for a fancy meal and we’re placed next to them and weren’t asked if maybe we would want to sit somewhere else. The parents didn’t seem to care at all that they were disrupting everyone’s dinner. I felt so horrible for the waitresses that had to deal with that table. Something for maybe next time would that if a table full of young wild kids come in , to maybe place them not right in the middle of the Resturant and maybe off to the side so others can have a nice meal . Especially since this also isn’t the cheapest place to eat. The food was delicious but for the rest of the night my stomach was VERY uneasy. My fish and chips were a bit pink I noticed afterwards so I was a bit concerned that maybe it was a bit old or off. Everything else tasted delicious. Everyone really loved the shareable appetizer plater. The view is great but get there with some time to spare because the parking lot is very very busy and fills up fast.
The parking here ridiculous, don't expect a actual spot in the restaurant parking lot unless you go really late. The food is pretty decent. The steak was very fresh and tender with good seasoning. The coronarita margarita is amazing highly recommend it if you like margaritas. Parking: Very slim parking hard to find a spot parking lot packed
I and my husband celebrate our anniversary at the Port Moody location. Nice view, amazing service. The food doesn't match the service. We ordered a mussel, but it is not too fresh, a bit stinky. The restaurant does the refund at the end. Also the Fried Calamari. I was surprised the present of the food is quite random. The dipping source tastes good. We also ordered mixed grilled seafood and steak. Those are ok. But, still, I want to thank for the restaurant preparing a free anniversary dessert for us.
Newly renovated interior, ample parking, friendly service, and decent food. You can’t go wrong with this place. My husband and I enjoyed a quiet dinner at 5:30pm on a Tuesday. Early dinner times on weekdays are the way to go for quality 1-on-1 time.
Wonderful birthday dinner. Emily was a delightful server with good recommendations. Our party of 6 had a delightful time. Delicious food all around.
We made a reservation for Thanksgiving dinner after seeing their advertisement attached the week before. Our reservation was for 6:15 on October 10 - an early dinner on the last advertised day. When we arrived we were given their regular menus and informed they had run out of the thanksgiving special. Our disappointment was immense. What was the point of making a reservation? They’d have known exactly how many specials to procure. I can only guess they openly offered the special to anyone dining with them during the thanksgiving weekend. We ended up ordering regular entrees. Nothing was done in terms of a comp to make up for their mistake. Nearby tables were also incredibly angry and giving the waitress an earful - not her fault, of course. My trust for this establishment is gone. My wife and I are new parents, and my parents are going through a serious medical process leaving my father with no energy. We thought it would be nice to not have to put effort toward preparing our usual thanksgiving dinner. We were excited that Boathouse was offering this and looking forward to it all week. Instead, our tradition is broken. We will not be returning, and I’m sure many who dined last evening won’t be either.
