I recently visited The Boathouse Riverside in Stratford, and it’s an amazing spot! The patio is right on the water, which is so nice. The staff is really friendly, and the food is surprisingly affordable for such a great location and quality. My family and I had a wonderful time renting paddle boats and enjoying our afternoon. If you’re ever in Stratford, make sure to visit this place!
Such a nice place with a hidden patio right on the water. There were clean blankets on the chairs for when it gets chilly. The food and ice cream is so good. Boat ride is real fun and our captain was knowledgeable and told us fun educational stories. We love it there.
This is a fantastic spot right in the middle of the Stratford scene! Typically boathouse type food is average and they are mostly just there to support the boat and bike rentals, but here the food is legitimately delicious too! Great sandwiches and salads, so most optimal for lunch. Also, the owners and staff could not be nicer, we have rented bikes from them twice this week and are starting to become pretty well acquainted!
Rented the paddleboat for an hour. The owner I believe was very friendly with the whole process and advised us on how far we can take down the Avon River within the hour. We were able to get to the festival and back with some time to spare. Quite affordable. Also got a soft serve ice cream after at the end. Highly recommend!
Ice cream, beautiful views, a scenic tour-it was such an amazing way to spend the afternoon! I organize group tours for ladies and 13 of us were visiting Starford, the scenic river tour was on my list, it was very therapeutic-as well as interesting because the boat master had plenty of facts and information about everything on the route. Their restaurant has a good variety and it is really nice to sit there and enjoy tea or coffee and a snack with all the beautiful views.nThe owners are very nice and welcoming, renting the boats and the tour was all very reasonably priced. Will definitely stop by next time we visit Stratford!
