Fantastic all day breakfast; speedy service, server was a sweetheart. Wonderful afternoon date idea in the sun! Will most definitely be going back.
Great service! I ordered the Blue Door House Special Sandwich with onion right. It was made just perfect.
As we first walked in the worker wasn’t welcoming. There was hair on my napkin, table wasn’t very clean and there is only 2 tables throughout the whole restaurant. Her hollandaise sauce tasted like sour mayonnaise, the sausages were over cooked and my cousins blt was drenched in mayonnaise. Her prices are crazy high for how Discusting the food is. Saying the restaurants food isn’t good, is a compliment. They don’t even have a cook!
My 3 young children and I arrived shortly after opening on a holiday Monday and were treated wonderfully by the nice lady who runs the restaurant. She turned on Disney songs for the girls to listen to and helped me cut up their pancakes. It was an amazing experience and we will definitely be back when in town. Thank you so very much!
Don't even bother with this place. The service is by far the worst I have ever experienced in my lifetime. Not a single patron in sight when we walked in and we were greated by a woman with manners of a farm animal. Once she verified our ID and passport she pivoted towards the kitchen and pointed to our table with a wave...very much how you would toss garbage out. Not impressed at all. We turned around and left. How this place is still open is beyond me!
Had a great experience at Blue Door Cafe. The owner made me and two of my friends a lovely breakfast and was really timely and hospitable. Saw how she, as well, had to turn several people down when they asked to be sat, due to her not being able to catch up with everything. Honestly, I respect people that don't promise things they can't fulfil, so in my opinion, it's ok to turn down customers if you aren't sure, you can serve them up to your standards. tldr: If you get to have a spot at Blue Door Cafe, it's a well worth it experience. :3
Went there sometime after breakfast hours, waited for a table. No problem. We sat down had a decent meal. Nice decor, friendly staff. Nothing too special, and a little cramped for our party of 6. But I enjoyed it for what place is; an establishment that's loved by the locals.
Cant comment on the food as we didn't even get that far, walked in this morning only to have the lady look at us and say "I'm too busy" to which we just looked at her confused, she repeated it and gestured around the room saying "I already have too many". Interesting way of running a business. For the record the restaurant was only about 2/3rds full.
Really good local restaurant with a communal atmosphere and down to earth owner. Great breakfast spot!
Stopped in here quick for a breakfast to-go. Ordered the breakfast burgers, and albeit a simple food, it was delicious. The bun was soft, and the bacon was crumbled !! so you didn't bite in a pull out an entire strip of bacon. I'd eat this over a chain restaurant sandwich any day.
