This is a great place for a beverage during happy hour, diverse eats you'll find nowhere else in Mankato, and listen to some live music. I know it has only been up and running for a few seasons, but this has quickly become one of my favorites to hang out. Right now we have some complementary popcorn to go with our drinks while watching hockey on the big screen. A live band is jamming away right around the other side. With the vibe, menu, and versatility, there is no other place like this in Mankato.

The food and drinks were great, we had the best Gyoza. Staff is friendly and the overall atmosphere is on point. Coolest bartender ever! Can’t wait to see the show tonight!
I really want to like this place. The ambiance is great. The drinks are amazing. But the food has been underwhelming each time I've been here. The last time I had the pork chops and they were WAY overcooked-to the point of being tough to chew. It's an awesome concept, but I wish they would focus on doing a few dishes REALLY well instead of a lot of dishes mediocrely.
Mario and his staff offer an experience that will never be forgotten. The chicken wings are a must have for any occasion.
Great service ! Wonderful drinks and food. The band was killer. Very relaxing environment. Perfect for a date night or just dinner and drinks with some friends. Our food was served in a timely manner. It was clean and a well maintained space. I would say check it out, you won't be disappointed !
This place is beautiful, and the staff is very nice. It could be the perfect venue for live music, but NEEDS sound proofing done to the space. The room bounces the sound everywhere. If you were to address this issue, this venue would be my favorite to perform at.
Super unique place, there’s an area in back where you can buy a wide range of local art and other handmade goodies. The food is exceptional the drink menu is super creative. the staff members were friendly & welcoming, Mario is the best! We will definitely be returning
We had dinner at the Blue Boat restaurant in Mankato with our daughter Samantha and Stephan her boyfriend. What an awesome place! I had the Gyudon, which was shaved beef, yellow onion, and a egg, served with rice. My wife had the fish and chips. Samantha had the Su Succa Fettuccine in a creamy white sauce with sundried tomatoes, parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Stephan went with Katsudon Pork cutlet, rice, curry sauce, egg, served with rice. Everything was absolutely delicious!!!!Apparently they change the menu every once in a while to bring food from other countries. This time it was Japan. What a great idea!!! We met Mario one of the owner’s he’s done an amazing job creating a beautiful ambiance to the restaurant. The was also a live band! We’ll definitely be going back!!!!
I wanted to love this place because Mankato needs more vegetarian and vegan options. Sadly I just haven't had the best experiences here.I've been three times to ensure I wasn't having a one off thing. The first time I went was for dinner and sat on the patio. They were out of the pasta dish I wanted but I went with the orange and fennel salad and the person I was with got the toasted fregola with Italian sausage and asparagus. The food took what felt like an exceptionally long time to come out. The salad felt overpriced for what it was and the asparagus was too close to raw on the other dish. I saw that they not only had brunch but also added their "off the grid menu" and I knew it was worth trying again. The second time was for brunch on a Sunday and I was so happy to learn that all the dishes had vegan or vegetarian options. I got the vegan biscuits and gravy and the person I was with got the pancakes. Luckily the bartender was amazing and so were the drinks because again the food took forever to come out. The food was very good but the overall experience was made uncomfortable by an off duty staff member making lewd comments to my friend. I decided to give it another try last night as they had live music and I wanted to still try the off the grid menu items. Unfortunately I was not able to. The service was slow and they seemed to be poorly staffed for an event. I was at a large table and only a couple of us ordered food. I ordered the fried kimchi and someone else at my table ordered the Korean tacos. Unfortunately I cannot comment on the quality of the food. About 30-45 minutes after ordering, the other food came out and I was told mine would be right out. After about another 15 minutes my sever returned to tell me that not only were they out of the fried kimchi but they closed the kitchen so I was unable to eat there after waiting an hour. My server was nice and apologetic but it was the oddest "dining" experience of my life. Unless they do a total overhaul I will not be returning again.
