This is definitely a band bar, it can be fun/packed on the weekends, but nothing too impressive. If you like local bands, this is the place to be. It is one of the most popular places around, so it will be busy. It's also a larger place than you would expect from the outside, lots of space to move around!
DJ is not good, music was awful. It was very hard to dance to such basic music. When I made a comment about the music, they said “well insulting the dj won’t make it better”. I’m not insulting the dj, I’m insulting the music he played. I would go to a different bar with better music and service.

The Blarney Stone is a nice bar & club in downtown South Bend. There is plenty of dance floor with a long bar and decent drinks. They also have two beer pong tables, although you might have to bring your own ping pong balls.
Smells weird but great energy.
