Lauren is a pleasant start of the day here for breakfast. Friendly, courteous & attentive. Most of the staff just needs a little work. Food is good quality but for 2 days now the kitchen seems to skip the “everything” on the everything bagel with the smoked salmon breakfast. Quiche is delicious, jambalaya, biscuits & gravy are all good. James is an awesome server for dinner. The French Onion Soup is a little too salty for my taste but Venison Filet Rossini & Rack of Lamb is good, would be better if the creamed greens is changed or made better.
May be it is because we had skid all day, maybe it is because we were quite hungry, but this was one of the best dinner experiences ever! Oyster shooters were meaty and delicious, endive salad was fresh and enough to share with two more diners, ricotta pillow is unbelievably delicious with pomegranate seeds to give it more sour taste, bison filet was well executed with a reduction to savor and mashed potatoes. Wine list was more than satisfying for the occasion. Thank you Bistro. We will be back.
Good atmosphere. Definitely a place on the fancier side with cloth table cloths. Food was excellent. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the service was pretty slow. If you're here to kill some time perfect place. Otherwise very enjoyable and would highly recommend.
Service is incredibly slowwwww. Be prepared to wait at least 45minutes or 1 hour for a simple breakfast dish. I would expect more for a restaurant inside the luxury Marriott property that charges over $1,200 per night. I am not kidding. Food quilting is subpar. Dinner with friends. Great service, superb wine and spirits selection, excellent food. Presentation of food served was excellent. Wait and price where as expected in Jackson. Highly recommend enjoying a meal here. Escargot was served hot in a butter and mushroom sauce. Duck Breast A L'Orange tasted I remembered it from Paris.
I was there for breakfast on a Monday morning in August. It was a very pleasant experience. The service was impeccable. I had the Croque Madame and a side of bacon. The bread for the dish was perfectly toasted and soft inside. The cheese was perfectly melted and the sunny side up egg was perfectly cooked. The salad had a mustard vinaigrette which both tamed the bitter greens and was a lovely counterpoint to the substantial Croque. The side of bacon was perfectly cooked with the perfect mix of crispy and unctuousness. The coffee was excellent, too.
The dinner we had here was superb! So clad we found this place. We absolutely love every bite of all the food that we ordered!
Absolutely amazing breakfast. Both the crepe and the quiche were delicious. Couldn't wait for a picture to try the crepe! Service was also quick.
My son, daughter-in-law, and I had a "night before parting" dinner. The Bistro was a great place for that. Our waiter was perfect. There were great entre choices. The food came in a very reasonable time, and it was delicious.Food: 5/5
Amazing breakfast and dinner. Compliments to the chef for ingredients, quality and creativity. Highly highly recommended when in Jackson.
