The Belvedere is a must-visit hidden gem in Pefferlaw. Minutes from Hwy 48 and Durham 23, this renovated old hotel has a rich history and really good food! Lots to look at with booths, hightops, long tables and of course the bar, the Belvedere is always a perfect meeting place for large groups or just you and a friend. Everything I've tried on the menu is delicious and portions are big!

Large traditional menu selection but very few vegetarian options. Neat interior and helpful staff.

Good food, good selection, great portion sizes (depending on what you get), amazing staff and quick service. Also great decor. Too bad it's basically in the middle of nowhere.
