this is a self serve location with an amazingly rich selection of craft and international beers. a great place for people who want to try something new and there are so many surprises and brews not available in much larger locations LCBOs. The employees are friendly and attentive.
Small store, but alot of selection. I was in there one night and a person stole a 6 pack of beer obviously I don't condone stealing but. The person working at the beer store didn't need to yell at the perp calling him a disgrace to society. The Person working there has been watching to many movies by the sounds of it.
Beware of the older guy in the glasses when returning bottles. He low balls the homeless when they return bottles and doesn’t accurately count on purpose. Disgusting, selfish person !
I did not appreciate the tattooed lady telling me i was disgusting because there was beer -possibly rain-in the bottom of my emptys- she asked me to empty them- i agreed id do it outside- she told me to do where i drank it? Why do you pay her- give me a job- ill actually do it without the Karen attitude.
Parking is not easy. The case we picked up leaked on us and then we got different one but it was not cold - could have been just bad day.
I have been frequenting this Beer store all my adult life and it’s always been my favorite place to get my beer and the reason for that is not the setup..but the staff. The old timers there are and have always courteous, knowledgeable, helpful and always friendly..always positive vibes...they do an amazing job which is not always easy there. I am so thankful to them for their amazing service to me through all these years..they are an awesome crew. The “new timers” there are also amazing. Might be an oxymoron, but the staff there is so classy, they’re hardcore. May they live long and prosper
It's a self serve store which is great. The staff are really knowledgeable about the products and don't mind giving a walk around when they can. The selection is way better in terms of singles and craft beers than most Beer Stores. If you bring in a dog they have treats under the cash for the dog. They don't let bikes inside the store because it is so small in the lobby. In the summer it's really cold inside and it can be a great relief, and they have heat lamps in the winter. The only downsides are there only being two cash registers so it can be a long line sometimes, mostly U of T students. The shelves can seem kind of empty on certain days of the week, it seems like they don't have a lot of people. There can also be some belligerent drunks making a scene, but I think that is just par for the course at any down-town Beer Store. Overall, I prefer this location to a lot of other ones I have been to.
Just beer. But quite a selection!
It's noticeably smaller so there's not much room to meander. Great location though
Usually have the beer I drink in stock, though could still use a wider selection. Staff are all friendly and ensure to limit number of customers entering.
