Came during May Long weekend from out of town with a friend. The Beef Club was close to our hotel, so we decided to try it out for dinner. We were quickly greeted as soon as we entered and lead to some seats. The waitress explained about some of the items on the menu, and was quick to answer any questions we had. The staff here were awesome and friendly, joking a bit with us while we ordered and afterwards when we were paying for our meal. The food itself was tasty. I got the Hickory Burger, which I quite enjoyed.
This was a cute local place. We ordered a steak sandwich with parm/mozzarella fries, beef dip with mixed greens, and kids chicken fingers. Our server was a nice fellow and our food was really good. There was a confusion with where we were eating as they have an old "Evans" sign up with the other info for the beef club. They need to ditch that. Thanks for lunch.
What an amazing dining experience! Our server Jason was so friendly and efficient! The menu is wonderfully varied and each of our party had an equally delicious and varied dish. A very great meal for us all, we wish we lived closer to eat there more often :
The food was quite good. Atmosphere was quiet and laid back. Service provided was the most notable. The staff was extremely friendly. Starter and main dish delivered in a timely manner. They went out of their way to make sure it was an enjoyable experience.
Friday of a long weekend, food came fast, burger was good, not fantastic but still very good. Yam fries should have a dip , aeoli or something. Server was exceedingly pleasant. No problem with this place. Maybe wait times could be big if it were busy, but it wasn't , and we didn't wait.
In town for lunch, which took way too long to be considers lunch. We came in with my baby, I ordered the triple a sirloin tacos... I have already been steering away from enjoying meat, and every bite I had into my taco there was a piece of fat or tendon. Now I am not the type to say anything. I gave my fiancé the money to pay, and went to clean my baby up. There was not a high chair offered to us, but 2 sitting right there. And overheard the cook say that he only uses the fat and trimmings for the tacos. I read the reviews and they were great... Why cheap out in any aspect to a paying customer..
I'm sure the lasagna and Cesar salad was terrific, but we'll never know because it never came out of the kitchen. The wings were deep-fried and super tough. The beef in the beef taco salad was grisly and tough way over cooked and it came with Catalina dressing, which was odd. My husband only got his side yam fries. I don't recommend this place at all.
This was formerly Evans. If your worried about it, don't be. We order here every Thursday for our poker night and have not looked back. The pizza is the same great selection Best in town and the delivery service from Ian is great. We've ordered the wrong thing before and they called us back to confirm! Check it out!
I've been meaning to write this review for a while. We visited in late August 2016 at about 3pm, after being met with closed signs and places bursting with people whilst showing our family from Ontario around Drumheller. We had quick, funny and entertaining service from the only server on! I myself had a Greek calzone, which was stellar. We had three other calzone orders at our table and none of them missed the mark of excellence! I just wish they had been served with a marinara sauce on the side. I found the fries were rather blah and seemed as though the oil used to fry them in was in need of a change. Other than that, it was a great experience at a very well kept and beautiful restaurant.
I went here on busy day on Easter and they just forgot about us. The cook saved the day coming to our table and serving us a delicious dinner. We couldn't try their famous hickory burger, so I'm looking forward to visiting them again and I hope to have a better experience.
