My husband & I came here for the last dinner of our honeymoon. I don’t write restaurant reviews often, but the service here was terrible. Almost all these stars were for the food. The food is very interesting & yummy though expensive, and a bit more generous of a portion wouldn’t hurt. We were completely ignored by the seating hostess despite our reservation & the place being half empty for nearly 10 minutes. We then waited 30 min to order and 30+ min for the bill when we asked for it. If my husband hadn’t finally gotten up to just pay at the front and run into our server, we would have waited longer. Turned out a big table had come & they’d completely dropped us. The sun had gone down in that time & it was freezing on the patio. Especially considering that we were having a $100+ meal, and what the tip on that would be, we should have gotten way better service. We tipped a minimal percentage & the amount was still more than was deserved. The view is nice, and the theme & good food make it an interesting place to visit, but the overall experience makes me not want to eat here again.
This is an amazing place for breakfast! The weekend bunch is especially spectacular as they expand their menu to include a few treats to fill your belly before you go wine tasting. I was here on a recent getaway to Osoyoos and was able to take advantage of the free breakfast as a globalist member. Staffing remains an issue in all of hospitality as a result of the pandemic, but that didn’t stop the service from being kind, prompt and professional, even as a large party caused a rush on the kitchen. I would recommend to make reservations in order to guarantee a seat, outside if the weather permits as the scenery of the vineyard is calming. Don’t miss the banana bread French toast, or chicken and waffles, a guilty dessert/ breakfast treat worth the sugar high! The omelettes, while pretty and likely less calories, were pretty meh in comparison. I will definitely be back!
Impromptu dinner here. First seated inside, but were able to move outside - a much lovelier setting. Started with Fry Bread. Very dense and slightly sweet, like a very firm plain donut. Did not eat the whole portion as wanted to keep room for dinner. Elk for the main was tremendous. Partner had the rainbow trout which was also delicious.
Enjoyed a nice lunch at this winery restaurant without breaking the bank. We had the steak fries sub skinny fries and the venison burger sub clam chowder. The food was fantastic and large portions. We highly recommend the clam chowder, it was superb!
Beautiful spot for lunch. Great views in a pretty gorgeous setting. Great service! The food was excellent. I had the fry bread with bison chilli and it was so yummy! They have lettuce to cut the richness. Really nice dish.
•Fantastic Food •Brilliant Chef •Amazing Views •Caring & Friendly Staff. We had brunch and HAD to come back for dessert. Camryn was super attentive and made our dining experience pleasant & FUN!
Drove up from Omak to this spot for Brunch and it was fantastic. The concept of the restaurant is wholesome and embraces nature. A wonderful menu for brunch and a beautifully presented dish. The complimentary plate was a nice touch but probably stopped me finishing my dish. I’m keen to try the dinner menu so I’ll definitely be back! Thanks for a special day!
Beautiful seating outdoors with lovely views. Seafood Chowder was delicious and the venison burger was a little dry and bun was also dry. Overall still a great experience.
Excellent choice for a high end, special dining experience. The portion sizes are very generous. The bread platter to share would be enough for 3 or more people. I wish I only had half a fried bannock bun, but the dips were all delicious. Preferred the white bean or red pepper one. The pickled beets tasted home made. Also very impeessed with the mocktail orchard deink - unfiltered apple juice with cranberry and a king cube, which I think was a big block of more apple juice. It outlasted my drink, which I sipped the entire meal and finished after dessert. My entree was the BC wild salmon with wild rice and a cucumber seaweed salad. I couldn't finish the rice and the salmon was perfect - moist and not a single bone. My partner had the duck duck bean and no complaints - also couldn't finish the whole serving of bean cassoulet and beets/swiss chard on the side. We decided on the legend of Carl apricot dessert and it was very light, excellent option after a heavier meal. Cute, appetizing presentation. I could see sharing a bottle of wine and dessert on the patio after a day of touring the resort. Amazing view even from the window table.
We had a lovely meal out on the patio, next to the fireplace. Started with the fry bread served with sunflower seed butter and moved on to roasted butternut squash, both of which were delicious and had some surprising flavours to enjoy. For our main we chose the duck duck bean, which was mind blowing. The cassoulet was perfectly cooked. Finally do NOT miss the creative delicious beautiful desserts. We had butterfly dreams which was crafted into a perfect little forest scene. Overall the food and service were outstanding, showcasing local foods. The atmosphere on the patio was delightful despite an occasional chilly breeze, but the decor and lighting inside do not serve the excellent food as it should and I sincerely hope the management sees their way to making some improvements. Five stars for eating outside, 4 stars for inside.
