The Bayside Bed and Breakfast

Beautiful little B&B with comfortable rooms, friendly hosts and great food. Definitely get the crab dinner - it is made on-site and is so fresh. Judy and Basil made us feel welcome and at home, even though my honey wasn't feeling well and the weather kept us indoors. The wood fireplace was a nice touch. We just wish we had more time to spend there. Will definitely be back on our next trip out to Nfld!

Words cannot describe the amazing experience we had at Bayside B&B during our travels in Newfoundland but I will try. Judy and Basil were the consummate hosts providing clean and spacious accommodations with attention to detail anticipating our every need.We were always given top notch service for every occasion during our visit .Nothing was left to chance with Judy's care! Judy's breakfasts were gourmet quality as we were always treated to excellent varieties of surprising delicious breakfasts - not your typical B&B style .... They were unforgettable because her care in their prep was first class !!At times ,we forgot that we were at a B&B ...not a 5 star restaurant!! Then to top it off Basil worked his culinary magic and prepared an incredible supper of crab and the fixings which went with it for my wife and I during one of the evenings of our stay ...That meal was equally memorable thanks to Basil teaching us how to use the proper tools to get the meat from the crabs....Wow... My wife and I have been to many B&B's in our lifetime but on a scale of 1-10 most of the better ones were perhaps an 8 or 7.5 .Well ,I can tell you that Judy and Basil are way above the mark because they sincerely spoil you by catering to you from the time you enter their beautiful house to the time you leave... Rarely would my wife and I give a 10 to a B&B..... but believe us when we say that Bayside B&B is a10-a solid 10!! P.S.The location is spectacular in every way also....Where else would you see whales from your breakfast room.

Stayed in several B&Bs whilst traveling round Newfoundland - this was the best by miles. Great rooms in a stunning location, with fantastic breakfasts. Best of all, you'll be really made to feel at home by the friendly, helpful owners.

Great overall experience! The Bayside B&B has a breathtaking view, the owners were so nice and accommodating, it was a pleasure spending time there. The rooms/bathrooms were nicely furnished and super clean. And lastly the food there made me want to stay there for another night just to get another taste.

The crab dinner is amazing and the hosts are very friendly. High likelihood of a return visit.
