This cafe is owned & operated by a lovely, local family and the vibe was perfect. Came in because of the raven carving by local artist, Steve Stevenson & so we did!nGreat coffee & muffins tip: the day-old baked goods, warmed up, are just as good as fresh. I also tried the rhubarb bar but prefer a higher filling-to-oat layer ratio. Went back the next day to grab pastries and a sandwich for the ferry journey home. Great selection includes cookies,whole loaves of bread organic sourdough , cinnamon rolls, pastries, muffins, scones, pies, desserts, tarts, breakfast croissants...nSelf-serve water station.nWalking distance to the park & pier.nIndoor & outdoor seating.nLimited outlet access for charging devices.
Wonderful, bright and airy place. We ordered their French brewed coffee and a slice of Chocolate pecan wedge. You can see that I almost didn’t get to take a photo of the pie - it’s that good! Amazingly yummy without so much of the sweetness! I’ll surely come back here!
Don’t like to give local businesses bad ratings but the Matcha wasn’t good and the service was really bad. The girl behind cash did not talk to me I said Hi she didn’t reply I said thank you at the end and she didn’t reply. My husband ordered the cappuccino and he liked it. That is why I gave them 3 stars.
Best organic coffee I have had! Everytime I come here I am always greeted right away and well taken care of. Their staff is so welcoming and I have never seen an owner as good as the one at the bakery, she has such a warm presence and is always so kind. They have lots of fresh baked goods including a vegan chocolate oat bar which is my favorite. I always order specialty cakes and pies from them and they never disappoint! I highly recommend coming here if you are looking for fresh, local food and amazing service!
It was my first time here and the café looked promising since it was busy and had a cozy vibe. I ordered the iced lavender oat matcha, but it was very bland. the matcha and lavender flavors were barely noticeable and it mostly just tasted like milk, which was disappointing. I also tried the chocolate chunk cookie, but it was too salty for my taste and seemed underbaked in both texture and flavor. My friends also ordered the banana latte and iced lavender matcha and felt the same disappointment with their drinks. Overall, we left underwhelmed and probably wouldn’t order these items again.
