The Backyard Smokehouse

Honestly the absolute best burger I have ever had, but that is not all of it. The portion of their food is super generous, pricing is super decent and presentation is another thing. Highly recommended and filling, and I think it is my new favorite place in the Annex. DO TRY IT!!

Walked by and decided to try. Ordered takeout burgers, fries and coleslaw. Can’t believe how delicious the food is. No wonder the phone was ringing off the hook. Staff were super courteous and friendly. Can’t wait to try again. Best wishes to the Backyard Smokehouse team. You’re nailing it!

Loved the meat, the brisket and the rib. It was too good. Chicken could be more juicy. But excellent starters and sides and their dips!!! Serving size is worth the price

Stopped by here yesterday around dinner May 18 2021. Absolutely wonderful staff, very helpful and welcoming. Picked up an order placed for takeout. Small interaction, but a very memorable one. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you for your kindness!

Honestly hands down the best smoked meat in the city! These guys never disappoint. Juicy, tasty, fresh and hot! Loved, loved, loved these platters, this place is a must try! We’re addicted.

We had the short ribs literally 1 min after picking up the food which was brought straight from the kitchen. Not sure why the ribs are cold. Flavours are amazing, portions are good, but lacks execution. Can’t be having cold beef.
