Awesome food and staff. Fish and chips is delish. Bar isn’t well stocked yet but they are doing a soft opening so I’m sure it’ll get better. So it’s been a year since my review, so here’s an update. Didn’t think it was possible, but this place actually got better. They have daily specials that’s not on the menu, but are awesome. I’ve tried everything on the menu and it’s all great. Honey hot grilled wings are the best I’ve had. St Patrick’s day party rocks, local bands and great atmosphere. if you get the chance, go!!!
Fantastic place! Patty took very good care of us. Service is amazing and best Guinness I’ve ever had - so very smooth. They take so very good care of you and food is also delicious. Absolutely recommend it!

Visiting Cape Breton, after the beach, bought take out for three adults at the Shamrock. It was delicious, homemade fries, homemade coleslaw and tartar sauce. The quality was excellent, the portions were big and the prices were good. Staff friendly and service was fast. Margaret
This is the very definition of the neighborhood pub. The food is outstanding and the service is even better. Everyone from the bartenders to the cooks to the owner make you feel like you're sitting in their living room and asking you if you want a beer. This is a hidden gem and if you're reading this you should definitely visit.

Ate in tonight and had an order of fish and chips that did not disappoint. Two large pieces of fish with fries, coleslaw and Tatar sauce. Great food with a good atmosphere.
excellent food and service we had the fish and chips couldn't believe the size of the portions it was awesome. and the waiter was very professional planning on going back for supper next weekend.
Last week it was perfect, ordered fish & chips, fresh haddock. This week ordered fish and a salad, the batter on the fish wasn't cooked. It was wet, runny and gross. The fish was fresh, though. It would have been perfect if they cooked it 3 mins longer.
