Welcome to The Augusta House

Located in Hamilton’s Durand District just off James St. S. The Augusta House is a wonderful destination for all ages, locals and visitors alike. Established in 2010, our restaurant has gone through many changes over the years yet through them all our motto has endured; to offer an enjoyable atmosphere, tantalizing food options and refreshments aimed to please all. Supplying recognizable brands, fresh menus twice a year and entertaining events both on and off site have kept our family of patrons passing through our door today and for years to come. Specializing in what we like to call “continental fusion”, our chef takes some of your favorite classic dishes and puts a modern twist on them so that you might learn to enjoy them all over again. Live music every Friday and Saturday night, golf tournaments, tasting events, and impromptu celebrations keep the fun times rolling throughout the year. Great selection of Cold beer and all soft drinks.
The place is decent in regards to environment and food quality, i found the pricing to be a bit on the high side for what your get. Service was friendly and prompt.
I was flabbergasted by the timely service. Even though the restaurant was busy, my server managed to work great under pressure. The beer and cheddar pretzels were extremely scrumptious. I’m looking forward to the next time I can unwind here after a long day of work. Have fun in Sweden Karl, you’ll be greatly missed Cheers!
Good for 35yrs and up. Kinda boring but cant complain about drinks and food. Somewhere I would bring a date I'd never wanna see again tbh.
Went into Hamilton to eat at a diff spot it was over crowded and ended up at Augusta House...this spot is great server was awesome food was very good had the Chicken crunch and it was very good. Others at our table had the burgers and thought it was good also. Recommend this place.
This place is deceiving. Looks just like a pub, would not think the food was sooooo good. Menu is small but wow does it taste good. Really great two hand sandwiches. Really good size portions. We also had the Brockley bites, the batter on them is so light it just disappears in your mouth..
Bar tender Cynthia is a babe, ill definitely be coming back for the that reason alone. That Nice lady needs a raise
The atmosphere and staff are great but unfortunately they just changed their menu and it’s not for me. I tried the “spinach dip” and the hummus dish but it was cold and not at all what I was expecting. In my opinion the old menu was much better.
Good food and good cocktails at a good price. Can get kinda crowded after 8pm especially if there is a band playing
