Really loved the brunch.. this is a hidden gem for sure. We drove by one day and saw the sign.. it's worth it. The starving artist is awesome, lots of food. The pancakes are unreal as well The atmosphere is really cool. Fur on the seats was a neat touch. I highly recommend trying it. I had a latte, and they are hand pressed ..!!!! Was one of the best I've ever had!
I went here for bunch with 3 others. This is a cool, independently owned restaurant/art gallery in Calgary's Northwest. The staff were friendly and attentive. I ordered the Banh Mi Avocado Toast with rosemary hash browns. The avo toast had an interesting and fresh flavour that I really enjoyed. This would have been a 5-star review except that the white of egg on my toast was not fully cooked, resulting in a bit of raw egg slime. The other two folks in our party who ordered this same dish said theirs was fine, so it sounds like it was just my egg that could have used an extra minute or so of cooking. One part of the meal that I especially enjoyed was the pour over slow drip coffee. The flavour was exquisite and totally worth the 7-minute prep time. After the meal we went for a stroll in the adjacent gallery and learned about the artist being featured and his work. There is plenty of street parking nearby. All in all, this was a cool and relaxing way to enjoy Sunday brunch. I look forward to going back again.
Had no idea this little gem existed until a week ago, food was fantastic! I can't decide on a favourite but definitely enjoyed the beef skewers, ribeye slider, and flavourful cauliflower! Definitely gonna go again!Food: 5/5
This place had it all! Food was amazing. Drinks were fantastic. And the atmosphere was great thanks to the gallery inside the restaurant. We went for brunch and will definitely be back for tapas in the near future.Food: 5/5
I loved this place, the food, the service. It is great for groups. My favorite food was the flautas and sliders, some kind of cheese, I forget the name, but it was really good. And the carrot goggles cocktail was delicious. Can't wait to go back there.
This place is fantastic. Everything is excellent, and the food, service, and atmosphere are terrific.Food: 5/5
Incredible breakfast and brunch on weekends on top of the best cocktails and tapas in town! A gorgeous gallery surrounding you makes it perfect.
Really cool atmosphere. Brunch was very good. Had the Bourdain and the Bahn Mi Avacodo toast, both were fantastic. One of the best Brunchs I have had in the city, and has a dog friendly patio!Food: 5/5
All of the food here was stellar, as were the cocktails. Being in an art gallery was also a really cool concept, especially since you can explore the art while you wait for your food. A fantastic addition to the neighbourhood!Food: 5/5
We arrived a bit late 9:30 PM and the held up the kitchen for us. We got the best service I’ve got in years and the food is amaaaaziiing!! Plus, the place is really charming and the art pieces are worth the detour.
