Superb Service! In comparison, services far exceeded my expectations. The quote given was accurate & very reasonable. The Rep knew the "right" questions to ask to best accommodate my needs in the most safe, timely & effective way. The crew kept the pace at a good steady flow through completion. I greatly appreciated the care & detail given to my valuables. I will use The Art of Moving services again for future residential needs and explore some of the services available for my business needs as well. My mothers move was scheduled to begin between 9am and 10am. I get a call at 8am the day of asking to push back the move to between 10am and 11am because the movers were "tired" from the night before. My mother naively obliged. 11am passes and no call, no show. We've already made a mandatory minimum deposit of $106 the previous day. I call three times and FINALLY get an answer. Asking why no one has shown up or called to say why they were late. Initially all I got was "sorry... the movers are near by... deposit is non-refundable so we hope you can wait for them to arrive"... Move did not begin until 12:06pm! But my mother is supposed to be "grateful" that she got $25 off. Movers were slow and not all that careful with her things. Another senior citizen taken advantage of.
