Little bakery in the center of the village. All the pastries we had were delicious, especially the lemon cakes. Only small issue was that there was not a ton of choice due to lower activity linked to Covid.
We came in not for baked goods but for drinks as we were thirsty on our walk into town. Quick interaction but the baker was more than friendly; He welcomed us to sit even though we didn't purchase food. We appreciated the good vibes and it made us want to come back to the quaint little town of Rosedale soon.
I love supporting small independent businesses, but the customer service, cleanliness of the displays, and quality of product were all terrible. I am not often moved to write reviews, but the treatment was so rude. I would not recommend this bakery.
owner tried to serve me without a mask-when i asked if he doesn't wear one, he said "i can if you want me to". is this his attitude toward washing his hands too? i'm in town for a month, but obviously won't be patronizing his shop during my stay.
Cozy and quaint; a great place to relax, read, or share a quiet moment with a friend sipping tea. The meringue cookies are a must-try.
My husband and I stopped in during our upstate NY tour. The owner is very welcoming and dog friendly. We had one of the best breakfast sandwiches we've ever had. Get the sharp cheddar with dijon mustard. I'm putting dijon on my egg sandwiches from now on. Definetly stop in
Unbelievably rude and unsanitary! Was forwardly aggressive and condescending towards me and my entire party, and after being asked to put on a mask did so but immediately took it off. He better be careful or the health department is gonna shut him down.
Incredibly rude. Obliged us at first when asked to put on a mask then IMMEDIATELY removed it. Was verbally antagonistic throughout our visit and INSISTED we leave through the back door. Everything overpriced as well!
The cook was NOT wearing a mask or gloves while cooking during a pandemic. He was also extremely rude to several customers.
