The Alphorn is my favourite restaurant this side of Barrie! It will make your taste buds dance with joy and the drink selection contains over 50 beers from all over the world. If you like to sing during your meal, the birthday song with be going off non-stop. This place is lovely and if you get a chance to meet Wanda or Mark, shake their hand, because you are in the presence of Swiss Royalty.

Love this place! Great service, cool bar tricks and free lemons! Plus the best schnitzel in Canada.

After checking their website and hours of operations and confirming they were open until 9pm, we arrived at exactly at 8pm. Upon arriving we also noticed their sign said “mother in law in town open 24 hours.” We proceeded to walk in and a server greeted us and told us to wait. Then roughly a minute later, a woman came up to us and told us they are not receiving anymore patrons for the evening and we were turned away. THIS IS NOT OKAY. This is very misleading and it was Saturday night!
