They always keep at least one non-dairy option vegan oat and/or sorbet and cycle through flavours often I have a nut allergy so I can find a safe window in between. The salted caramel was absolutely delicious!! Great family activity to order a cone or bowl and enjoy a picnic.

Super cute little local ice cream shop on Mill Street! Variety of flavours with your staples but also offers some fun ones if you’re in the mood to be adventurous can be a bit hit/miss but that’s likely the idea of trying creative flavours!. A local favourite so would recommend if you’re walking along downtown.
Did not know from small shop comes big flavours ...Awesome flavours of ice cream,I loved the vanilla flavour. We tried soda float toocrush soda +vanilla ice cream it was a beautiful drink.just loved it,worth trying. The staff is polite too.worth a visit.If in Almonte,do try the ice cream...
My girlfriend and I are ice cream junkies okay, we're ice cream snobs and we love to try local places in the hopes that we'll get locally-made ice cream... This shop is not that kind of local ice cream place, as we were served name-brand ice cream from a tub that had definitely been thawed and refrozen at some point. We had moose tracks that had only two mini peanut butter cups in the whole cup of ice cream, and a very lackluster cookie dough that had very little taste. Spending $5 for someone to spoon a couple of scoops of what's essentially store-bought ice cream into a cup is not a great feeling. I wouldn't recommend it, go to the grocery store and buy some chapman's with cones and you'll have a better experience you might actually get some peanut butter cups in your moose tracks.
Excellent spot for real milk ice cream! Tried their vegan vanilla today and it was not good at all… taste was lacking, consistency was chalky and it had a stretch to it like mozzarella too much xantham gum maybe?….my mom went back to tell them that it was not good - hopefully they change the recipe as a tasty vegan ice cream goes a long way and is greatly appreciated by many!
Really enjoyed their chocolate and banana ice cream, as well as the black cherry ice cream. Worth the wait in line.
Don't let the long line up deceive you, the staff are Rockstars so the line moves quick and the wait is always well worth it! They are always changing up their flavours which makes it exciting every time we go because you never know what is available and every kind is delicious!!! The small serving is definitely not small as they're very generous with their scoops but somehow I always seem to have enough room to finish it every time. I would have to say it is my favourite ice cream in the Ottawa area!!
Love this spot! I believe it's run by a father-daughter duo. The girl is so friendly and sweet and the ice cream is so delicious. It sounds like they do some creative stuff with apple cider in the colder months too that I'm looking forward to checking out. Definitely a must visit when they're open.
Just had the vegan maple walnut and was truly disappointed. Flavorless doesn't taste like maple or walmut, somewhat gritty and an overall fail. And they upcharge for their vegan options so it's a double disappointment.
