Great location with a shop with many choices. We had to select a few otherwise we would have bought everything. They have a new Venue and were hosting a wedding. This venue is stunning.
Such a close drive from the city for such a beautiful spot in the country. The grounds are stunning as you drive in and the animals and scenery around back closer to the store are gorgeous as well. The pepperettes are legendary, bacon is delicious as is all of the sweet treats we have gotten there have been to die for. Check this place out!
My husband and I attended a wedding this weekend at Thatcher Farms. I cannot say enough good things about this venue. It is a gorgeous facility, overlooking fields and trees as far as the eye can see. Very comfy with lots of nooks and crannies for conversations. Clean, accessible, and spacious. Then we ate. The menu was fresh and fun. A subtle southwestern flavour threaded through each course using meat from the farm combined with seasonal and eclectic ingredients. A new take on time honoured traditions. The staff were lovely and attentive. I recommend.
Great location, beautiful property, really friendly and helpful staff! The u-pick strawberries were amazing! Really big and super sweet and oh there were plenty of them! I liked that they don't use any weed sprays/ pesticides on their berries! I rather deal with the weeds and know that there's no chemicals on my fresh berries! Super delicious! Highly recommended!
We brought the family to visit the sunflower patch. Pre-ordered some snacks and our tickets online. The staff were very friendly and engaging. We bought some kettle chips, lemonade and sunflower crunch trail mix. The food quality was really good. All COVID-19 precautions were in place sitting areas very well spaced out, the market area only allowed 2 people at a time and you had to wear mask by the market area. We even got a tour of the farm from a kid that just happened to be walking around the farm. We got to pet the donkeys , see the turkeys cows and chickens. The playground area was closed at the time so we’ll have to come back for that.
a quick drive to the country and you will find this beautiful farm store bursting with local products and from scratch baked goods,great selection of hand cut meats cut in their very own on site butcher shop! staff are very knowledgeable and friendly ready to find you anything you need! a must see!
I want to thank a young lady named Katherine who went above and beyond to help me. She recommended some meats for our special family bbq and then packaged them so that it would work for our needs. Thatcher’s is lucky to have such a gem of a staff member! Thank you!
I had researched where to go on our day in the country to pick up some high quality meats and other things for dinner, and found this. What a great place! We could tell that in the summer there would be lots to do for people, and families. The store was open and is full of fabulous meats theirs, cheeses, prepared meals, soups, pantry items and a fabulous array of baked goods. We shopped happily for dinner for the next few nights, and snacked on pepperettes, an apple fritter and butter tarts....our lunch!
A really great, family owned local farm. Always receive you with a smile, chat a bit. Their products are fresh, well packed and of outmost quality. Always worth the trip.
Greeted by a lovely orange and white kitty at the porch, the kitty's tail could almost touch it's back, I did not know cats can fold like that. Inside is clean, smells great, visually cool retail setup with all kinds of meats in refrigerators, cheese curds, marinated chicken, lamb, pork etc. Some other items available like purses, candles and honey as well. We got some strip loins and they were delicious. Highly recommend stopping in.
