Came here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. We tried their sea food special meal and the regular meal, which included a selection of most of their dishes laid out on a bed of Kerala red rice. It was a 30 minute wait since we decided to dine in. There were a lot of people mostly doing take out. The meal was absolutely delicious and flavourful. Loves the prawns, squid and fried fish options.
Thanima is a very nice place to enjoy some kerala cuisine.. this place is near our church Grace New Covenant Pentecostal church and the aroma coming from this kitchen will let us plan our lunch or dinner after the services. It does take time to get the order and the quantity of curries are not so much, yet for the taste of it.. we enjoy food from here often.
Wow.. we ordered the Onam meals & the food was so yummy. Feels like it's homemade food & makes you feel you are in India. We thought there is going to be lots of wait time on a busy Onam day. But they organized it very well to avoid waiting time or crowd. Price is reasonable & tasty for sure. Strongly recommend the place.
Tasty Kerala food in reasonable rate. Tried chatti choru and it was good. Good parking space. Only area of concern is that we need to place order well in advance for special items. Dining space available for limited numbers but its clean and tidy.
Roasted chicken was undercooked and fish curry was overcooked. Flavour of curries was nice. Fry fish was okay. Not the best. I”ll recommend it if their fish can be a bit softer.
Authentic Kerala taste. The food is really great with a lot of Kerala dishes. We enjoyed our non-veg Thali with chicken and the ghee rice and beef combo. Loved it!!
Bought a KIZHIPOROTTA for 15$ something.had good quantity for me to eat two times time of purchase was around 9:30 pm.the beef inside was well cooked and the gravy had perfectly blended with the porotta. The food,i loved it. Price,worth it. Thank you for the foodFood: 5/5
Edited on Dec 27 The last time we went, everything was excellent but this time the service and the food was terrible. There was only two people and the store was so busy and was understaffed. Was sat there and saw at least 50 people walking out. This time we ordered biriyani, porotta, beef curry and fish fry. Porotta was bad and cold. Biriyani was sugary and cold. Beef curry was excellent and fish fry was not fried well. Also it took 45 minutes to get the food. Note to the owner: please hire more people at busy times other wise you will loose your loyal customers over service and quality of food. Hope you improve your service!! We came to Mississauga for a family event. We where really happy with the food here. Space for dine in was limited but food was top rated compared to the other Kerala stores nearby.
Great South Indian Kerala food at great prices. Went there a few times with friends and loved the food every time. Their chatti choru is a must try, portions are generous, 2 people can easily share it. Parking: Free parking available.
’chattichor’ tasted delicious. each curry tasted exactly like our traditional homemade curries. And i would say pazhampori was the best i have tasted in past 3 years.
