Great service and food! I came here for my birthday today and the staff was amazing, and the food was delicious. They brought me the best fried ice cream while they sang and had me dance with them!
So glad I found this place. The food was delicious, the staff were more than attentive and helpful with navigating allergies and the prices and portions were spot on. This is definitely a thai place I'd return to. They also have a cute happy birthday song for birthday celebrations that reminded me of Thai Rak Thai in Scranton. Thai Thai in Wilkes-Barre has dine-in and take-out service with a very extensive menu. What was ordered: 1. Appetizer special with thai spring rolls, little mermaid fried shrimp, curry puffs, and thai dumplings 2. #39 pad pak with duck meat and rice chicken, beef or shrimp are normal options 3. cashew nut chicken with rice 4. sticky rice with mango dessert FYI, I liked the rice and mango separately, but not together as a dessert.
I love this restaurant! One of my favorite Thai restaurants ever! You can't go wrong with the food and everything I've ever eaten there is phenomenal!
We visited Thai Thai around 6:30 on a Friday night, and there was plenty of seating available. Our server was very pleasant and wasn't afraid to engage in small conversation. The Thai Dumplings was a unique and pleasant appetizer which featured steamed wontons filled with crabmeat, pork, chicken and shrimp, with a sweet black sauce. The Tom Kha Gai was a spicy soup bursting with a variety of flavors, to include coconut, lemon, lime and chili, among others. The Pad See Aew is a soy-based dish with flat noodles and your choice of beef, chicken, and pork, along with Chinese broccoli and egg. The dish was delicious and VERY filling! The Drunken Noodle dish included flat noodle with your choice of chicken, pork, beef. The plate also included broccoli, onion, tomato, bell pepper, egg, chili, basil leaves. The meal was ordered with medium spice, which had enough heat to make it enjoyable. You can ramp up the heat if you so choose. All in all, a very enjoyable dining experience. The menu has many unique and appealing meals, which makes a return here inevitable.
Loved their curry, wonderful blend of sweet and spicy, plenty of food to satisfy. The Thai coffee is pleasant and smooth, and is something to come back for.
I mentioned my boyfriend's birthday and they just smiled. Before we left, they shut the lights off and had great music playing as they sang a birthday song to him! All dishes, sides, desserts and individual personalities were amazing!
Excellent service the food is delicious I had Shrimp Pai Thai and Coconut Shrimp Soup. I highly recommend this 2 dishes
Very nice atmosphere, great Thai food. Service was quick and attentive. Drunken noodles were cooked perfectly and so tasty. My red curry with shrimp was excellent. This place is great to BYOB. Overall, I highly recommend.
Very good Thai food! I was surprised by its flavor and authenticity. I had the Pad See Ew with beef and it was great! I order a level 2 spicy and it was still pretty hot so be careful. Only think I will say is that the Thai iced tea wasn't as good as some other places. It did looked very nice and was aesthetically pleasing and if you have never had Thai iced tea I would still recommend you try it! It is very different from American iced tea. The inside was also nice so don't wear shorts like I did haha! Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options for literally almost every dish. Just say "veggie" after the dish you ordered. I am not vegetarian but my friend was there for me and he is vegetarian. The food he had was very good. Only compliant is that the vegetarian appetizers aren't all that. We got the tofu and it was just okay. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Just make sure they are dressed well. There were a few tables with children when I was there. Parking: Bad parking. They don't have a parking lot that I noticed so you have to park on a busy street. Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp so easy to enter.
I love the stink out of this place. Wonderful food. I have always enjoyed the service. Easily the best Thai in the area. Grab it for lunch. Grab it for dinner. Dine in or take out. Pad Thai, pad see ew, drunken noodles and basil fried are solid options, but you're gonna be hard pressed to find anything that's overly bad.Food: 5/5
