Great vegetarian menu here. Great big portions, lots of flavor, friendly down to earth people to serve you. We tried their Tom Kha tofu and Red curry. Tom Kha is sweet and tangy with some very aromatic flavors.
Always fantastic. Consistently the best and the freshest Thai menu you'll ever find anywhere!! The owners are some of the kindest people I've ever met. The service is fast and friendly. Great wait staff. I've been coming here for over 10 years and I'm still impressed with the quality freshness and consistency. I always look forward to eating here.
We ate dinner here on Friday, Oct. 28, 2022. I've got to note a disclaimer about the night. We were in town for our daughter's state cross country championship race. Lewiston was full of teenagers at every restaurant. Schools from all over the state of Idaho were in town to compete the next day. Thai Taste was no exception. They were overrun by a large group and that caused our wait for food to be much longer than expected. Though very busy, the waitress was nice and friendly. We ordered a chicken satay appetizer. This is something we get at nearly all Thai restaurants we visit. This chicken satay was over cooked and very, very dry. So much so that even dipped in peanut sauce, it was still hard to eat. I don't know if this is normal for this restaurant. As noted above, the one waitress and the kitchen were overrun by a large group of high school kids. The peanut sauce was not very good. I ordered the pineapple fried rice with chicken and a level two on their spice scale. It was excellent. My wife and daughter thought it was good as well. Our daughter ordered the chili basil noodles also at a level two on their spice scale. They were good, but nothing exceptional to note. Lastly, my wife ordered the Gang Karee yellow chicken curry. It was the WORST curry we've ever tasted. The only way to describe the sauce is very, very bland - like it had been watered down to make the sauce go further but to the point of making it disgusting. I took one bite and that was it. My wife only managed to choke down a few bites then finished off my pineapple fried rice. Overall, I'd eat here again for two reasons. 1 The crowd of high school kids probably contributed to our poor experience and I think the place deserves a second look on a normal night. 2 The pineapple fried rice really was delicious. It's something I would order again.
Really disappointing. I definitely try to give places the benefit of the doubt and am not super picky but the Pad Thai was really soupy and not very flavorful and the Chicken Sate was also texturally super weird.
This is my favorite Thai restaurant. The food is authentic and delicious. The restaurant itself is outdated but has a certain charm. They go to Thailand every March to get new spices.
Best Thai food in town. Actually, probably the best food in town. try the combo fried rice, or the cashew chicken.. Very fair priced for the huge portions.. all extremely good!
Good food, one plate feeds 4, oops lol.Thai tea I love, great atmosphere. Friendly guy doing all the work. Make sure you leave him a good tip, he deserves it!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
Friendly waitress, Pepsi products, I got the pow kee mo with pork. It's on the back of menu. Timely manner, best soup to start out. Huge portions fair price.
This Food is Amazing!!! Amazing customer service!!! Very friendly and accommodating.
This is always a great option for takeout! The pad thai and pad see ew portions are HUGE and easily feed two or three people. It does get very busy here for dinner, so to go orders may take a half and hour or longer, but it is worth it. They do not deliver. The dining area is pretty small and can get quite cramped, but it's not usually too bad early on. Don't forget to try their Thai iced tea! Vegetarian options: There are many veggie options available. Kid-friendliness: Thai cuisine is for everyone! Parking: Plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessibility: No handicap parking spots. Doors are tough to open. Curbed entrance with no ramp. Dietary restrictions: Rice noodles are gluten free but the sauce may not be. They do use peanut sauce.
